Excellent place to try testaroli and panigacci. Both dishes are very tasty. Plus, if you're patient enough to stop for a moment to watch the fire heating the testi, you can watch the panigacci being prepared and cooked. It's a spectacle. I've been told the meat is also very good, but I'll try this one next time. Definitely a place to stop at least once when you're in the area. Reservations are essential, because, given the low prices—which is obviously a great thing—it's packed. Well done guys, keep it up!

Every year when I'm on vacation, I go to this fantastic restaurant. Mushroom polenta, ravioli, and panigacci with fabulous cured meats and cheeses. Excellent value. The atmosphere is very welcoming and cool, even on the hottest evenings. Fast service, and reservations are recommended, as it's often fully booked.

Every summer I choose to eat at the Vecchio Mulino. The ravioli and panigacci are a guarantee, along with excellent cold cuts and cheeses, including the vegetarian option! The waitresses who served us were always friendly and smiling, despite the large crowd and the chaos! Plenty of parking and a lovely outdoor area!

It's been a long time since I've been to Vecchio Mulino. Excellent food, plentiful, and super-good prices. I'll definitely be back.

Che dire personale gentilissimo e professionale, cibo eccellente di qualità, prezzo onesto. Ci tornerò sicuramente. PS: i testaroli i più buoni in assoluto che abbia mangiato - sono 6 anni che vivo in Liguria

28/08/2025: Excellent food at a great price; they even offered us a small vegetarian appetizer. We ordered two plates of testaroli with pesto, a bottle of water, and two desserts (very good!) for just €28 total. The waiter was very kind and explained how testaroli are prepared. Highly recommended!
27/08/2025: We stopped after landing in Livorno: we had a really good time. Highly recommended.
