Pur senza prenotazione,ci hanno trovato un tavolo .il locale era pieno e l attesa un po' lunga,anche perché c'è poco personale .il cibo di qualità buona e cucinato in modo tradizionale.

The hotel is very beautiful both inside and outside, excellent cleanliness, the room is equipped with every comfort. The owner is helpful, kind and a great cook. The waiters are kind, attentive and friendly. The food is exceptional. We had such a good time that we returned the following weekend to pick up our daughter who is attending the European Manga Academy. We had no doubts and reconfirmed the booking, to relive the friendliness and kindness we found after a 6-hour journey. Marisa

Nice place to stay a couple of days. There’s nothing interesting to see but you are very close to VOLTERRA by car 18 min.

We are a Venetian family of 4 people plus a "four-legged family member". We stayed overnight, had dinner and took advantage of the breakfast service during the outward journey towards Porto Ferraio to embark for the island of Elba. Having wanted to bring forward our arrival in Tuscany to the day before boarding, we opted for the Vecchio Mulino found via bookimg, so as to be able to visit Volterra. Spacious room, clean and absolutely adequate for our family needs, very friendly, kind and professional owner. We ate a Florentine steak cooked by the owner himself which was truly excellent, the same goes for the two first courses taken by our children and the following morning we enjoyed an excellent breakfast, the homemade desserts were excellent, we would have eaten the whole lemon one ...In short, if you pass through Volterra, stop at the Vecchio Mulino, even if only to eat.

We ate at the restaurant for a business lunch, the menu is interesting and offers a good choice between tradition and slightly more particular things, prices in line and good service... if you are in the area I recommend it
