Strategic location in front of the lake and a few steps from the cathedral and also very close to the funicular. Clean and well-maintained rooms. Abundant and varied breakfast with sweet and savory options. Very friendly staff, especially Susy, the manager, who was really nice and helpful.

We booked the room not knowing quite what to expect and we were pleasantly surprised! We mostly booked for the location, which is perfect. Easy access to the train station and the ferry piers. We booked a double room with a lake view and we were not disappointed. The room was bigger than we expected and very clean. The bathroom is on the small side but was very clean as well. At check in we were greeted by Suzy, she was very kind and checked us in efficiently. Suzy helped carry the luggage to the room which is up 2 flights of stairs. The rooms are located directly behind check in and where breakfast is served. We booked a room with breakfast and were very happy with our decision. Even with the central location, the room was very quiet. Many choices including fresh cooked omelettes. There are usually two ladies working breakfast and both were very kind and helpful. If we return to Como we would definitely book this hotel again.
