Seeking some refreshment in the Piedmont hills, we found ourselves in Ala di Stura, Ceres, and Mezzenile, and it was here that we stumbled upon the Il Vecchio Borgo bar and restaurant. Surprisingly, Fabrizio greeted us with genuine kindness and courtesy...not your typical noisy bar or restaurant, but with just a few patrons. We were served by the courteous staff, and the food was more than delicious: delicious (I'm holding back on a lower rating because I believe it can always be improved). We'll be back and highly recommend it.

a lovely surprise: sincere and authentic cuisine, a delicious welcome (thank you for the recipe for cold trout with vinegar and white wine!). I recommend the table with a view of the curious castle of Mezzaluna)

We went for lunch on August 15th. Our compliments are due to all the staff... kind, impeccable service, very friendly. We really enjoyed Claudia's dishes... A very charming place with objects of undoubted historical value. Thank you for everything. We will definitely be back.

While searching for a last-minute restaurant for a Sunday lunch for two, we were immediately impressed by their hospitality. The kindness and attentive service continued throughout the meal, making it a truly positive experience. High-quality food, compliments to the chef, whom we met at the end of the meal. Each dish was prepared with dedication and using quality ingredients. The dessert was a perfect finish. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Incuriosita dalle belle recensioni non posso fare altro che confermarle nonostante abbia mangiato un menu turistico e non tutte le cose appetibili che la cuoca Claudia propone nei giorni di festa. Cucina semplice ma gustosa ottimo per un pranzo veloce Piacevole L oste accogliente ti fa sentire a proprio agio accogliendoti come un ospite super gradito. Torneremo. Sicuramente per assaggiare il menu delle feste

01/09/2025: A wonderful experience in every way! We stayed at this hotel for a few days and I can't say enough about it. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine kindness, making our arrival immediately pleasant. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and very professional, always ready to answer any questions with a smile. The rooms are spotless, tidy, and meticulously maintained: you can sense the utmost attention to hygiene and guest comfort. Every space exudes a sense of tranquility and well-being. Another highlight is the breakfast: plentiful, varied, with fresh, high-quality products. There's something for everyone, from sweet to savory, and it's served with great care. Overall, a perfect stay. The atmosphere is relaxing, the service impeccable, and the hospitality truly makes the difference. Highly recommended!
29/08/2025: An all-around perfect hotel! Everything is top-notch, very clean, and the atmosphere is incredibly friendly. The beach is incredibly beautiful—a true oasis of well-being with plenty of space and located right next to the hotel. The breakfast is excellent, with everything from sweet to savory, catered to. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful, and the pool and lounge are superb and ideal for relaxing. The rooms are large, modern, and very well-maintained, plus there's private parking. Check-in and check-out were absolutely seamless; everything was explained to us directly and in a friendly manner. We felt welcome from the very first moment and can wholeheartedly recommend this hotel—we will definitely be back!
