Quiet place, everything was good, courtesy and cleanliness were excellent! 🥰

We stopped here because we were looking for a place to have lunch after our bike ride. We called and they welcomed us even though we arrived at 2:00 AM. The food was homemade and made with love: colossal gnocchi with ragù di turgia, delicious artichokes in oil (from Puglia), agnolotti with roast pork cheek sauce, and roast hazelnuts. The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful; we'll be back soon!

This small, family-run restaurant/bar is a lovely find in the heart of Mezzenile, provided you make a few compromises. We dined here one evening in August. You enter through the bar and are then escorted downstairs to a modest but clean room with a few tables and pleasant background music. Unfortunately, the lovely French windows overlooking the courtyard overlook a concrete courtyard, but at least you can enjoy the cool, mountain-like evening breeze. The owner, Fabrizio, is a cheerful, if a bit intrusive, person who takes care of the dining room. The service is prompt. The two of us ate well, and the quality of the cured meats was appreciable, as was that of the meats, the pasta dishes, and the crunchy, wholesome vegetables. The only things we didn't particularly enjoy were the polenta (the pignoletto has a peculiar flavor—it's either love it or hate it) and the dessert was so-so (the whipped cream... no way!). The sore point is the disproportionately high bill of €90.50, considering we had to mop up every dish and finish off two baskets of bread to fill up. With a little more thought put into the portions—sufficient for the first and second courses but rather meager for the appetizers and side dishes—and a bit more effort put into the desserts, it would deserve 4 stars despite the price. For a 5, alas, the location still needs some work. Will we return? Probably later, hoping for a less stuffy welcome and something more on the plate.

Excellent restaurant, large portions, delicious food. The polenta concia was exceptional! We arrived almost an hour late from our reservation, and the manager was very understanding.

We came with the family for Sunday lunch. The atmosphere is refined, clean, and full of period charm. The owner is very friendly and helpful. They have a small, very characteristic upstairs dining room. The dishes are fresh, typical of Piedmontese cuisine with hints of Puglia, such as the excellent extra virgin olive oil. Dishes are beautifully presented, with authentic flavors prepared in the right way. The wine is good. I didn't try the house desserts because we were full, but we'll be back! There's no set menu. Prices are average, but the quality of the products is decidedly high, so that's fine!

Family-run restaurant. Very courteous, polite, and friendly staff. The restaurant was recommended to me by friends, and I would recommend it again, as we had a relaxing and delicious lunch. The menu offers Piedmontese dishes at affordable prices, made with quality ingredients. I find it perfect for those who want a quiet lunch in a welcoming setting, or for those who want to enjoy a family lunch or dinner. There's also a bar and a small newsstand. They also have a party room. We'll be happy to return!

We came to this lovely restaurant with our family for Christmas lunch. The menu was simple, tasty, varied, and beautifully presented, with friendly and efficient service. Despite the crowds, the atmosphere was pleasant and homely. A thoroughly positive experience, and I highly recommend this place. Its uniqueness is also due to the well-stocked newsstand/bookstore with local publications for mountain enthusiasts. We will definitely be back. Kudos to the owners and staff, who always have a smile on their faces!
