My husband and I stopped in here for dinner when wandering the streets in Trastevere on a whim, Great experience! Lasagne was 10/10! Service was also just amazing. Really enjoyed the atmosphere here. Very affordable too. Definitely would recommend!

A nice "tourist" place welcomed us for a reunion with friends who came from places scattered around Italy. Gigantic pizza, friendly, attentive and fast staff despite the influx of people.

Great restaurant in the heart of Trastevere and you can order gluten-free and it is the best gluten-free pizza I have ever eaten and with large plates they told us that it is because the boss is celiac! The waiter Alberti was very friendly and treated us very well! We will return for sure

I am a celiac girl and I have eaten very well there twice! The gluten-free pizzas are delicious and huge (the guy has been improving the recipe for years) and you can order all the pasta and desserts gluten-free too.
My friend is not celiac and has also enjoyed the dishes we have shared.

Delicious meal and even better service from Francesco and Sylvia.
Our Airbnb is only a block away and Il Tulipano Nero genuinely feels like a neighborhood restaurant. Francesco and Sylvia brought the warmth, friendly personality while the chefs delivered some amazing meal with the Fantasia pizza with yellow and red fresh tomato, mozzarella di bufala. Really fresh, light, and tasty.
The Focaccia was crispy seasoned well complementing the tagliare (met and cheese plate).
The bruschetta with eggplant was comforting.
We finished it off with a refreshing limoncello! Compliments to everyone!
Basically, just listen what they have to suggest and enjoy their company and food!

Ristorante/Pizzeria nel cuore di Trastevere.
Avevo prenotato con entusiasmo tempo prima perché avevo visto dai social che avevano anche il menù anche in versione gluten free. Finalmente ho potuto assaggiare i vari piatti tipici romani, da PAURA! Il locale è semplice e ti immerge nella vera atmosfera romana. Il personale super gentile ed accogliente. Super preparato anche per la conoscenza dei piatti senza glutine, mi hanno saputo indicare al meglio, cosa non scontata.
Anche la versione no-gluten free, mi comunica il mio ragazzo, veramente buona!
Location consigliata. Tornerò sicuramente
