What a night in this amazing family restaurant in San Vito Lo Capo. The lovely Lorenzo served us so well and later we met his amazing parents Tomas and his beautiful wife. What a wonderful family and a great place to experience the best Sicilian cuisine. We’ll be back. 😎

Good spot and after 3 days searching for a vegetarian friendly menu in San Vito Lo Capo, we found it! More choice than others and very tasty. Attentive and kind staff and lovely wine and beer too. Recommend!

We ate here one evening while passing through San Vito. The interior, especially the restaurant, leaves a lot to be desired, especially the bathrooms, which I found very dirty. The service is very professional and the staff are really good. The eggplant parmigiana was delicious, and the seafood couscous was also quite good, although the spaghetti with clams was less so. Still, it's a place I'd return to.

Too bad, we came here in 2022, and we had dinner and lunch at this restaurant more than once, and everything was excellent, the quality of the food was excellent, the staff was super friendly. The service has remained unchanged, but the flavors are less convincing.

A quiet place to eat the best mussels in San Vito lo Capo. We tried many places, but we ended up returning to them on our last few nights. Fresh fish, generous portions, and service worthy of a trattoria.

Osteria Il Principe e Il Pirata

02/08/2025: La location è bella, il servizio attento, le pietanze deliziose. I prezzi sono abbastanza in linea con il resto dell'isola ma le porzioni sono quasi degli assaggi. Con antipasto, primo e dolce mi sono alzato con la fame. Forse c'è di meglio
31/05/2025: Wir genossen ein grossartiges Dinner im romantisch abseits gelegenen Il Principe e Il Pirata. Allein das kleine Modellboot auf der Terrasse ist schon ein Eye Catcher. Ebenso die phantasievoll gestalteten kleinen Kacheln, die in die Esstische eingearbeitet sind. Die Pasta mit Thunfisch war in sich rund, wenngleich der Fisch ein wenig "trocken" daherkam. Noch trockener war das Schwein mit Tarte Tatin. So schade, dass die Italiener es nicht so mit Saucen haben, das Schwein hätte definitiv ein wenig Sauce vertragen können. Auch die Beilage - Karotte mit Ingwer - trocken wie die Sahara! Auch das Mangoeis als Dessert hätte ein wenig Sauce - sei es Erdbeer- Minze- oder Limetten-Sauce vertragen können. So wie das Mandeleis, das mit sehr gut passender Caramel-Sauce serviert wird.
