A fantastic place! Delicious food, wonderful wine, desserts, and the history of Matera displayed in the cellar...an incredible experience! The weather in January wasn't exactly inviting for sitting on the terrace, but it gives us an excuse to return on warmer days!

A restaurant nestled in the Sassi with a lovely view. In winter, you're covered by a tarp, but the view is still a highlight—if you eat outside, of course. Very good food. Prices are a bit high.

On the recommendation of a tour guide, I decided to have lunch at this quaint restaurant, drawn primarily by its central location and terrace. I must say, the restaurant is truly beautiful, and the view of ancient Matera is not disappointing. The staff is friendly and quick; in fact, I understand they prioritize serving the number of tourists. The food is decent, like a tourist menu, nothing special, and the portions are generous. Prices are reasonable. Recommended for those with modest expectations and looking to eat in a nice, quaint place.

A restaurant with a beautiful view of the Sassi, serving carefully prepared and delicious Lucanian cuisine. The typical appetizers are generous and varied, including a fantastic pan of orecchiette, superb tagliatelle with cardoncelli mushrooms, and mouth-watering fried artichokes. An excellent Sunday lunch.

The terrace is located in the center of the Sassi of Matera. It is a characteristic and very well-kept environment. It offers typical traditional cuisine. The osteria is accessed by going down a small staircase from which you can admire a breathtaking view of the Sassi. It is an enchanting location. The staff was exquisitely kind. The dishes were well-prepared with local products. Lunch took place in an atmosphere of cordiality and great hospitality. Compliments to all the staff.

We had a fantastic lunch at Il Terrazzino. The local antipasti platter and burrata were superb. The homemade pasta was excellent. Friendly and helpful service. Stunning view. Highly recommend!!
