Great atmosphere, friendly service, beautiful views, but: the three pizzas we ordered—the capricciosa—were completely inedible, smelled of fish, and tasted very bland. The other flavors were okay.

I ate really well. The meat was cooked well as were the fries, the special dish was really very very good. The service was really very welcoming, they were really kind and friendly... The view is a breathtaking view, truly beautiful, I felt like I was floating on the rocks.

Local cuisine with traditional products, impeccable service, and excellent value. The cellar is effectively a museum, open to visitors. The view of Matera is unparalleled.

Spectacular place! We were in Matera to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We weren't sure where to go for dinner, but after searching online we found this fantastic and romantic spot. They have a small room with a window overlooking Matera, a very intimate space with just one table. When we went in to book, it was already taken, but the owner was kind enough to let us know anyway, and once it was available, she would assign it to us. We didn't care about eating early, so we booked for 9:00 PM.
When we arrived, it was still taken, so they temporarily put us at another table. We chose the menu, and as soon as it was available, they moved us there.
I sincerely thank the owners for their kindness.
I highly recommend it.

A fantastic place! Delicious food, wonderful wine, desserts, and the history of Matera displayed in the cellar...an incredible experience! The weather in January wasn't exactly inviting for sitting on the terrace, but it gives us an excuse to return on warmer days!
