Restaurant with a wonderful view despite it being Sunday they were immediately ready to welcome us by giving us a place on the terrace polite staff friendly and fast excellent food full of traditions every time I go to the sassi of Matera it will be my fixed stop I recommend it compliments.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Matera with a great view if you are lucky enough to eat on the terrace. Possibility of a fixed menu at a cost of 25 euros, quite abundant and varied. Recommended

In the splendid setting of Matera. Beautiful view of the Sassi. The food I would say not exceptional, average, friendly staff. Inside the restaurant you can visit an interesting small private museum on the peasant life of ancient Matera

We ate very well 🤗🤩 everything was delicious 😍🤩 but the service between courses is a little quick. Beautiful place and we were invited to visit the wine cellar 🥰

So lovely food and wine. Get early for a table with a wonderful view. Scam alert however! After the bill arrived, we were offered 4x amaretto s. Which we accepted. ( typically done Free of Charge). However the waiter then proceeded to charge us 3 euros each and wrote it by hand on the bill. Our Italian speaking member was v surprised and said hey these were after the bill are they not free? Not at all. Sadly they weren't even amarettos ... more like "cough medicine". Mentioned to the manager when paying and he fully supported his waiter. So a clear scam to add 12 euros to the bill. For context a 50cl jug of lovely wine was 5 euro. So a rip off. Enjoy, but don't accept "gifts" from waiters at the end of the meal !!!!

One certainty, the terrace offers an enviable position. Central with breathtaking views of the stones. Menu of Lucanian specialties. The tourist menu at €26 offers many specialities, a bottle of aglianico, the act, from the notary's cellars. We spent €30 each, eating well with fast service. Perfect. I highly recommend.

Este lugar es enorme, engañoso desde fuera hacia abajo bastantes escalones. Gran servicio y la comida era excelente. También debido al diseño tenía un gran ambiente también

Locale molto caratteristico mangiato molto bene un antipasto , pasta fatta in casa ed agnello. Personale gentilissimo ottimi piatti . Prezzi giusti

21/10/2024: Cucina gourmet elevatissima. Siamo clienti di questo ristorante praticamente dalla sua apertura. Uno chef dalla visione creativa, professionale ma personale, mai fuori dalle righe. Una cena dopo l’altra da custodire nel cuore. In sala personale Dall’altissima professionalità e conoscenza del mestiere e dal calore umano Che non necessariamente Si incontra in questo tipo di ristorante. Grazie!!!!!
03/10/2024: I’ve ate at many Michelin star restaurants in various countries. The deserve a star for sure. Very creative presentations, the food was amazing, and the service was exactly how we liked. I highly recommend…as for the bad reviews, I would take them with a grain of salt, as many people have tampered expectations and attitudes.

03/01/2025: Characteristic location surrounded by nature, perfect hospitality, very kind staff. Really very good typical food, varied and plentiful starter, tasty first course and sublime roast meat. Highly recommended!
