Very courteous and friendly staff. Requests always satisfied with great ease. Excellent cuisine and some dishes are found in local cuisine. Eating on the terrace, with that view of the stones, is priceless. At the end of dinner, to finish, visit the cellar with photos and historical finds of the place.

We hadn't booked and they rightly had to give us a table out of the way.
Then due to cancellation of a reservation They gave us a table in the front row (very kind they could have cared and instead..), therefore a table with a view. Very kind, smiling and friendly waiters, I can only give a positive comment. Excellent food.

Really quality restaurant. Excellent service, very good dishes, excellent wine and desserts, but what deserves it most of all is the view of the ancient city. The terrace overlooks the central part of the stones, between the two main squares/terraces. Reservation recommended.

Beautiful place with a view of the stones! Really professional, friendly and attentive staff. The possibility of visiting the free internal museum which shows archive photos and objects of daily life from the old Matera is also wonderful! Super recommended!

Food that follows the Matera tradition, on average in Lucania.
A small observation, the mixed roast as indicated by the waiter was not mixed roast.
Average service, in particular a waiter who was often too intrusive.
Overall an average experience, expectations were higher.
A very characteristic location is a plus.

Questo posto mi è stato consigliato da una guida dopo il tour di due ore a Matera. Il posto è molto bello e lo staff ti fa sentire a casa, tutti molto disponibili. Il cibo buono, il rapporto qualità/prezzo è corretto. Abbiamo preso dei piatti locali di cui erano buonissimi! Il servizio è stato veloce nonostante il ristorante fosse pieno. Dopo cena abbiamo fatto un giro presso la loro cantina che devo dire stupenda!! Assolutamente consigliato!

Magical place to eat lots and well with a fair and limited expense. Excellent raw material and breathtaking view. It is worth a free visit to the cellar where you can breathe the history of Matera.
