Excellent quality food, portions a little small but cooked with good skill and to a high standard. the only flaw is the door being opened in December at the end of the service to make it clear that it's time to leave, perhaps it's a bit excessive. I recommend a softer approach. maybe tiredness, I don't know, but the waiter was a little unwell. personal advice if you want to maintain a high level you need to take a little care in your approach to the customer too.

What can I say, it's always been behind the house and now I've discovered it. Delicious food and impeccable service all accompanied by a beautiful venue. You can see that there is passion behind the work 😊

Serata trascorsa x festeggiare un compleanno in famiglia ,il locale è curato ed accogliente con un servizio gentile e cortese. Abbiamo optato x un menù di terra apprezzando la presentazione dei piatti e la qualità del cibo . I piatti di carne hanno una cottura alla brace che dimostrano la bravura dello chef. Ritorneremo sicuramente anche x il rapporto qualità prezzo Bravi

È sempre una garanzia. È una trattoria ristorante che conosciamo e frequentiamo. Qualche sera fa abbiamo portato ospiti stranieri, che hanno apprezzato l’ottima cucina, l’ospitalità e l’atmosfera. Complimenti meritati.

17/01/2025: We were a rather large table coming from Turin to celebrate a work colleague. They patiently put up with our joking spirit (if we abused your patience we apologize). Definitely a great restaurant. Great food and the service showed friendly, nice and patient (even for the late hour at which we left).

21/10/2024: After a day spent in Castellamonte for the annual ceramic exhibition, we decided to wander around the hills in the area in search of a nice cheap pioletta. Of course, we never expected such a nice, welcoming place with such a varied cuisine! We had a nice plate of pasta, but we saw burgers and pizzas pass here and there, in the hands of the very friendly waiters, with succulent faces to say the least. However, what most made us say goodbye to L'insomnia with the thought that sooner or later we absolutely have to return, is the outdoor area that you will find once you pass the main room, at the bottom of the stairs: a truly relaxing atmosphere surrounded by greenery. And in any case it is also worth mentioning the main venue which, especially in the cold periods of the year, will welcome you with its Irish pub style charm.
