Good service, delicious food, and a pleasant atmosphere. As an extra, we ordered the sorbet, which we had never tried before and it was also very good.

We stumbled into Il Tavolino on a Sunday while searching for a place that was open, with no particular expectations, and ended up being very pleasantly surprised. The Wagyu carpaccio was absolutely outstanding, as were the linguine alle vongole and the desserts. The steaks are freshly cut from large pieces and grilled over an open flame, looking truly excellent. Service was warm, professional, and attentive throughout. For Milan, the price-to-quality ratio is very good, though the extensive wine list is priced a bit ambitiously, so we skipped ordering a bottle this time. We would return

We went a couple of times. All of the reviews are correct insofar that they have the local hotels recommending them. So it's a catch all tourists game going on. The food was good although I would recommend that you steer well clear of the meatballs, they are no more an Italian meatball than my left foot. I ordered the meatballs and needed something to eat with them so I ordered a small amount of spaghetti for which I was charged 13 euro more. They put the knife into tourists, eg a small beer is €6:50. The staff brought the main course to the table when we were only halfway through our starter. They also don't mind arguing with each other in full view of customers. It's a very rushed feeling, here's your food eat up, pay and get out. A strong male dominance is exhibited and a few more females might tone down the testosterone. The one female member of floor staff was very pleasant but pushed aside by the boys. More respect for tourists would be a plus.

I ate here twice in 2 days since it is close to my hotel, duo Nuova Porto. Yesterday i just arrived in Milano, it was 230 and i was hungry. Ordered a pizza, with funghi and prosciutto. Wood oven, perfectly cooked Today i met cousins from Como. I had Risotto Milanese. One of the best ever. Tons of saffrono, rice perfectly cooked.
