Il Tartufo Trattoria in Bologna is a place with potential, but unfortunately, in my case, it was a bit of a disappointment – the portion was surprisingly small for the €30 price tag. I was expecting a unique truffle experience, and the dish was served without the characteristic cheese-grating ritual seen in many videos of this place. Now, it looks like they're rolling out of the kitchen on the cheese and simply transferring it to the plate. The taste was good, but the overall experience left me a bit unsatisfied, especially considering the price and expectations. Maybe we hit a bad time, but I can't give it a full rating this time – it's a shame, because the potential is great. The dish itself is very good.

For me, it's overrated. The prices are very high for the quality and quantity of the food. It's good, especially their specialty pasta with Parmesan cheese and truffle, but they're getting worse every year.

The place was small but very cozy! The staff was very kind and the survice was fast and absolutely on point! The food was perfect, we even got a show with the risotto and tortelinni! Definately A MUST!

Everything was amazing. Our food was perfect, wine pairing recommendations were spot on. Staff was great with children. I would visit Bologna again to come back here.

I'm telling you about a fantastic experience, excellent quality traditional food, but the fried mushrooms??? You have to try it!!! The green lasagna?? The cutlet?? The creamed risotto in a cheese wheel?? Etc... Listen, if you still don't understand... Go and try it... Then I'll wait for the review.

This was the most amazing dinner experience we’ve had in the 8 days we’ve been in Italy. We had a group of 8 and they accommodated us well. The server made us a custom meat and cheese spread for our family which was amazing. Alongside that we tried their sauces, they have a sautéed onion ragú that I would eat over and over again. As a first plate I ordered lasagna. It was a spinach pasta and ragú lasagna. Amazing, honestly. Then as a second plate I ordered the pork loin. It was melt in my mouth tender. They even suggested the perfect wine to go with everything. I couldn’t say a single bad thing about our dinner.
