A refined setting just steps from Amalfi Cathedral. The staff, with their old-fashioned courtesy, welcomed us on a chilly November evening. The raw fish appetizer was delicious, as were the scialatielli, a typical coastal pasta. We found the fried fish a bit toasted, but that can happen. Dessert, a revisited tiramisu, was truly delicious and original.

We dropped by early for lunch, looking for a quick bite, and went for the deep-fried fish and chips. Surprisingly good — definitely better than the street koppo options! A cold beer and a glass of decent white wine paired perfectly with the meal. The cozy dining room and the smiling, welcoming staff really made the experience enjoyable.

We came early for lunch for a quick meal and opted for their deep fried fish and chips. Not too bad after all better than the street koppo for sure. A beer and glass of reasonable white wine has a perfect match with it. And you can sit down into a beautiful cosy room with smailing waiters, which for me is a huge plus!

We sat in the evening at a lovely table facing the street with people walking across. We did try few dishes, but the best for me was the catch of the day, a really tasteful fish with freshly cooked vegs with white sauce. Very very good one. In addition the pinot grey glass was a perfect match. I highly recommend this place.

A wonderful evening at Restaurante Il Tari in Amalfi.
The fish was fresh and perfectly prepared, accompanied by a delicious wine.
Our wine waiter, Lucio, and his young colleague were super friendly, attentive, and extremely accommodating.
We finished with a divine tiramisu with espresso poured over it—the perfect end to a wonderful dinner.

Excellent welcome and service
We were in a semi-gastronomic restaurant.
The atmosphere was calm and very pleasant.
The slow-cooked lamb was a pure delight.
The wine list was very interesting.
Since we were in a semi-gastronomic restaurant, I would like to point out the sea bream, which was slightly overcooked.
But overall, we had a very good time.

I just happened to pass by without any prior information and popped in. It was a truly satisfying meal! The waiters were incredibly friendly and professional, and the food was delicious! My friend said it was the most satisfying meal she'd had in Italy. I highly recommend it! ^^

A Perfect Amalfi Lunch!
We stopped in for a relaxed lunch and ended up having one of our favorite meals in Amalfi. We both ordered the fried seafood — light, crispy, and full of flavor. Fresh ingredients and just the right crunch!
To finish, we shared a homemade dessert that was simply divine — the perfect sweet touch to end the meal. The staff was warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the atmosphere was cozy and welcoming.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy local flavors with a touch of charm. We'll be back!
