An absolute insider tip. They cook from scratch here, offering truly hearty dishes, including the Tamburellas, a spicy stew topped with a pizza crust, which is highly recommended. Two twins run the place, and their mother cooks for them. Everything is freshly prepared – and they're done after 20 guests. That's how many they make per day. Those who manage to reserve a table can expect very personal service. The wine selection is very good value for money, despite its limited selection.

Our accommodation was located not far from this little restaurant, guided by Google reviews we dined there for our last evening in Rome. When we arrived there were no more seats but the charming waiter asked us to come back 20 minutes later. When we returned he set our table on the terrace and we were able to enjoy risotto, pizza and pasta! Excellent food, wonderful welcome, I recommend this little treasure 1000 times!

Enthusiastic brothers, attention to detail in the meals, and a pleasant dining experience. Tamburello, risotto, and ravioli are all very delicious, and the more you eat them, the more you enjoy them. Affordable prices and great prosecco. It was a pleasure to dine at this gem of a restaurant on our last night in Rome.

Mi è stato consigliato questo piccolo ristorante in zona Aurelio e sono stata immediatamente accolta dai due fratelli gemelli che lo gestiscono con grandissima cordialità e simpatia. Ho provato il piatto caratteristico, il tamburello, davvero originale, accompagnato da ottime verdure cucinate secondo la tradizione campana. La cucina è estremamente genuina, il rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente e mi sono sentita veramente coccolata, come se fossi a casa di amici. Lo consiglio vivamente e ci tornerò presto.
