A PLEASANT DISCOVERY JUST A STEP FROM HOME Just a stone's throw from my house, there's this wonderful place, welcoming, and tidy in every way. The owners are wonderful, the food is EXCELLENT, the service EXCELLENT, the place has a warm atmosphere, like being at home... I congratulate you for having brought this place back to life. Today, my husband, my son, and I came for lunch, and we were so thrilled that we decided to celebrate our son's First Communion here. You deserve the best. Luisana, you're amazing, and the chef is super 👏👏👏

In Tuscany for work, I tried several places in the surrounding area until I stumbled upon Sottobosco. There's no comparison, and I haven't changed. The restaurant is clean and well-kept, and in the warmer months it has a large, green outdoor area—it's wonderful. The welcome and service will make you feel at home, friendly and kind. The restaurant offers a menu of meat and seafood dishes. I've tried everything, and I must say the quality of the ingredients is excellent, everything cooked to perfection! The price is more than fair—highly recommended!

Rustic atmosphere, the food isn't bad; the simple, traditional dishes are good, while the more complex ones aren't so great. Prices are average.

Praise, praise, praise. The true cordiality of our wonderful Tuscany. Deliciously honest, sincere, and full of flavor. The "al calo" wine in a straw-covered flask should become a UNESCO World Heritage Site 😅❤️. Everything was good. Friendly and pleasant service! Well done! Thank you 🙏

Six adults and four children celebrated my birthday, everything was delicious, all the food was starters, first courses, steak, stewed duck, fried porcini mushrooms and the steak, the service was excellent, the owner was very kind and friendly, I highly recommend it, the prices were really good and the quality of the food was excellent.

25/12/2025: Always a great experience. We come here often, and never grow tired of Laura’s traditional (but creative) cooking. They select the best ingredients, the best local suppliers, the best quality meat and dairy. I never eat pasta, but I make an exception for the Maltagliati with Wood Pigeon and pine-nuts. I just love them so much. Also, they offer fowl when in season and wild boar, as befits this territory. I love their roasted pigeon and the beef tartare, the polenta and the truffle egg. If you start with an aperitivo, they have a good local gin (Ginepraio) or a Tuscan-made vermouth and bitter.
