We enjoyed some absolutely delicious barbecue platters featuring pork, beef and, above all, suckling pig. Der Service war nett und schnell.

The food is good at a fair price. You arrive and the waiters are very welcoming and friendly, offering you an aperitif with bruschetta, and after your meal they also offer you limoncello. The prices are super fair, and the cuts and platters are excellent. What more could you ask for? In my opinion, this grill restaurant deserves 100% respect in every way. See you soon!

We went to this place for dinner and were so pleased!
We ordered three different cuts of meat with baked potatoes on the side, and to round things off, we had some fresh desserts. Everything was cooked to perfection and delicious!
The place is rustic, but truly a treat. The staff is friendly and welcoming—kudos!

Title: Pizzeria Il Sombrero...like Peter Pan's Neverland. I booked a table for two over the phone with the owner for that evening, craving pizza since I'd been to the pizzeria and grill Il Sombrero several times before. A table was available for 8:00 PM, and everything was fine. However, the owner forgot to tell me the pizzeria wasn't available. We arrived at the restaurant, where the signs advertised the restaurant, pizzeria, and grill Il Sombrero (they always have been, as I pass that street often). The very kind staff sat us at a table outside the building with other customers, without having to enter through the main door. They kindly brought us two glasses of prosecco and two bruschettas, which were free (we appreciated them). They then came to take our drinks order, which arrived quickly (excellent service: 1 water, 1 Coke, and wine). We began to consume them while waiting for the menu, which was brought to us shortly thereafter. When we looked at the menu, we read that all the pizzas were unavailable and that the pizzeria wasn't open. I asked the staff for an explanation. I was supposed to come for pizza, but they said the pizza chef had been away for a few weeks, so there were no pizzas. It's not a tragedy, of course, but why didn't you let me know before I sat down? Why didn't the owner let me know when I made the phone reservation? We had already consumed some of our drinks and the bread, so I didn't think it was right to get up and leave. We stayed and had to eat other things that had nothing to do with pizza (mixed grill with baked potatoes). I had to adapt and eat what the owner wanted at the end of the conversation. After dinner, to avoid unnecessary arguments, my wife went to pay the bill, and only after paying did I go to ask the owner for clarification, who was busy doing his job, which is not pizza chef but grilling. I politely addressed the owner, avoiding any arguments, saying that in my opinion it wasn't proper behavior towards customers not to warn them that they couldn't provide service (pizzeria closed) and to only warn them when they'd already ordered and partially consumed (a customer might even think it was pre-arranged). It was enough to put up two clearly visible signs outside that read "pizzeria unavailable, sorry for the inconvenience." It wasn't difficult. The owner replied angrily: "I have work to do, look, you can go away and you don't pay" (but knowing he'd say that, I had already paid just to be on the safe side). I replied that I had already paid first, just so I wouldn't hear it last. He told me that I hadn't read the signs (masculine plural) that he had put up outside. Having poor eyesight, I went outside, confident that those signs weren't there. So, passing through the glass door of the main entrance, I saw an A4 sheet of paper stuck to the glass that said "pizzeria unavailable", or something like that. For him, that was a sign that customers had to read; the problem was that no one came through that door. I realized that the owner had mocked me. Mine was just an explanation, a customer's advice, it wasn't a controversy. We can all improve, so you too, the owner of Braceria Il Sombrero (only a grill, though), should not mock customers. Kind regards.

A pleasant surprise on the way home. Friendly and quick. We slurped up the mixed grill, it was so tender. I hope I have an excuse to return.

Good food, everything, from appetizers to first courses, main courses, and sides.
Generous portions, generally reasonable prices, a nice, casual place with an outdoor seating area.
Easy parking, also dog-friendly.
Two adults.
