Their menu changes seasonally every 4-5 months; we went based on photos we saw in Google reviews, but some of those dishes were from the summer menu. Nevertheless, we were satisfied with our choices. The Puntarelle we chose as a starter was refreshing and unique. The artichoke and shrimp risotto was delicious; the shrimp were very fresh, and the harmony with the grated artichoke was amazing. The seafood ravioli was very successful with its filling; although the sauce was delicious, the only drawback was that it arrived a little cold. My wife chose Ossobuco, a Milanese classic; the meat was tender, and the sauce and marrow were fantastic. The fact that the coffee cost €4 and they charged €10 for 'coperto' (table fee) made the price-performance ratio a bit off. While the flavors were excellent, the prices could have been a little more reasonable. The atmosphere was very elegant and thoughtful.

You always wonder if they're recommending places for tourists, like us, who aren't from Turin. However, Solferino Restaurant is the perfect place for dinner. It's a popular spot for Turin residents, with excellent service and a delicious dinner. The traditional Piedmontese dishes are delicious. Paola, the woman who helped us choose our dishes, was always very kind and helpful. She answered any questions we had about our choices with courtesy and kindness. I recommend everyone try it.

We have been coming to Milan for years and Il Solferino is a mainstay. As usual, for dinner we shared the steak Florentine Angus steak for two. It was perfection, as always. The restaurant décor and atmosphere are always fantastic. The highly professional waitstaff and hosts are welcoming and always make for a thoroughly memorable and enjoyable time.

In the charming Brera neighborhood, Il Solferino is a historic, reliable restaurant where you can indulge in a traditional Milanese menu or explore both land and sea. They often offer interesting off-menu options, have an excellent wine list, a welcoming dining room, and attentive service. Recommended.

The place is very well decorated. The service was great. The food was excellent, as was the wine recommended by the waiter who served us.

A top-tier restaurant in Brera. The food is typical Italian, with risottos, pasta, meat, and fish/shrimp. The appetizers are all excellent. For starters, we ordered creamy polenta with porcini mushrooms and truffles, paired with Primitivo di Manduria wine. The service was extremely attentive, especially from Ashy (I apologize if I misspelled his name), a waiter of unparalleled efficiency and friendliness. The atmosphere is very pleasant. Worth a visit.

Il Solferino remains a charming hotspot, offering quality cuisine for those who love Milanese dishes, along with an exceptional wine selection. The restaurant could perhaps use a little more attention to detail, but Massimiliano's impeccable and professional service still makes for a five-star experience.
