Ristorante Il Saraceno In Cavernago

I went to this restaurant attracted by the "Gourmantico 2025" initiative. I was pleasantly impressed by the professionalism of the dining room staff and the truly exceptional dishes. Definitely worth a second visit. The only flaw is the toilet...it doesn't influence my excellent opinion on the dishes, but, in my opinion, it deserves more care.

We discovered this place through the gourmet review, Location although close to a "busy" road, very well furnished and quiet inside, only a small misstep in the service and attitude of those who welcomed us to the table during the aperitif but immediately remedied by the kitchen, the dishes well presented and very good in taste and substance, good at maintaining high quality for the entire duration of the menu, which is not to be taken for granted...we particularly appreciated the scallop salad and the garlic risotto citrus fruits and prawns. We will definitely be back to try it outside of the tasting menu we tried. In my opinion, there is little room for improvement in the service and there is a lack of small precautions for customers... for example just one bathroom is a bit small, I would change napkins for drying (paper is fine but thicker and more divided otherwise more would be wasted) and I would put a hanger for the bags and a freshener for the room, toothpicks for customers etc..) but overall passed with flying colours... excellent for fish lovers.

It's a special evening, it's not just a dinner but a journey through food, I recommend it for anyone who wants to have a special evening, everything is excellent.

Exceptionalism, sobriety, refinement, quality, creativity, genius and a pinch of elegant madness! Starred with merit. I recommend a 7-course tasting menu.

Cenare al Saraceno dallo chef Roberto Proto e’ un viaggio sensoriale le cui origini sono un marchio di fabbrica inequivocabile che ritroviamo frequentemente nei vari piatti assaggiati. Tutto fatto in una sofisticata apparente semplicità che trasuda esperienza e voglia di stupire. Complimenti perché ancora una volta abbiamo abbracciato ed assaggiato sapori che lasciano il solco.

Perfect experience from all points of view

The environment is cared for down to the smallest details. The restaurant offers large and reserved tables, creating an ideal atmosphere for both social and romantic dinners. I remember the bread and focaccia served for their goodness. Particularly appreciated was the spaghettone dish with sea urchin, best ever eaten, very rich in seasoning, the sea urchin pulp was very tasty. It is a restaurant that combines high quality cuisine with an elegant setting. It is impossible, if there are two of you, to share a dish because the chef prefers to prepare two dishes.

Si avverte in ogni singolo piatto la storia di questa generosa famiglia da sempre votata alla ristorazione di alto livello sempre nel rispetto della massima qualità. Complimenti a tutti.
