The best place we ate in Italy by a considerable margin. The appetizer was 10/10, the main course 10/10, and the dessert 10/10. The service was impeccable. It's recommended to wear a suit or formal attire at the very least, and the restroom is a bit hard to find but very clean. Expensive, but worth every penny.

I had the pleasure of discovering Il San Lorenzo during a ceremony, and I was deeply and pleasantly impressed. The absolute highlight is undoubtedly the quality of the raw seafood: incredibly fresh, served with care and elegance, and with a truly remarkable variety that showcases the raw ingredients to their fullest. Each course is an explosion of authentic flavors, reflecting a careful selection and exceptional expertise in fish preparation. Despite the private event, the service was impeccable, with the staff always present, attentive, and courteous. The management is professional yet warm, putting every guest at ease. The price is certainly proportionate to the quality of the products and the gastronomic experience offered: you don't come here for just any meal, but for a truly haute cuisine experience. I wasn't able to fully appreciate the wine list, as on this occasion, wines from the organizer's own winery were served. All the more reason to return soon and explore the restaurant's wine selection, exploring the pairings offered. Highly recommended.
