02/05/2026: My mother was initially admitted to the neurology department and then to the abdominal surgery department. She was hospitalized for about a month, and she was discharged today. Our family experience makes me think that being a doctor is a mission...being one with kindness is a rare gift! All the doctors were very kind, especially in the neurology department, where we spoke with Dr. Costantino, while in the abdominal surgery department, our closest contact was with Dr. Bottalico. Aside from these two doctors, with whom we had the most contact, all the staff we interacted (in both departments) demonstrated the utmost professionalism and helpfulness, which are not always a given, especially when coupled with such kindness!
