We booked this restaurant recommended by relatives from Massafra. The restaurant is located in the old town of Massafra, a very beautiful and characteristic location. We were greeted by extremely kind and helpful staff, who explained and recommended the various gastronomic options.
The quality of the products in the appetizer we ordered (a gold platter) was sublime! Followed by livers, bombette, sausage, and straccetti! Everything was delicious! The dinner price was truly excellent for the quality of the products! We highly recommend this place for a one-night (or more) dinner!

A traditional stone restaurant in the historic center, with outdoor seating.
As soon as we arrived, we were immediately impressed, and so it was.
We ordered a platter of traditional cheeses and cured meats with jam and honey, tortelli filled with caciocavallo cheese and capocollo, burrata with eggplant, and orecchiette with meatballs (spectacular). Finally, the typical Massafra dessert, the Tornerai.
We loved everything!
The staff was very friendly.
Prices were in line with the product offered.
I recommend it!

I went there on Sunday evening with my wife after visiting the Gravina. Everything was perfect.
Excellent dishes with a wide selection on the menu, featuring local specialties and a good selection of wines. Very fair and reasonable prices. My wife, who is lactose and dairy intolerant, found excellent alternatives designed by the owner and the very attentive chef. The location is fantastic, with the interior carved into the tuff rock and outdoor terraces overlooking the charming neighborhood.
The owner, the chef, and all the staff were very courteous and professional, making us feel at home. We highly recommend this place with its well-deserved 5 stars and will definitely be back.

Si potrebbe parlare del locale, caratteristica casa scavata nella roccia, oppure del cibo, davvero buono, servito con gusto e ricercato, ma quello di cui voglio parlare prima di tutto è della squisita accoglienza che tutto il personale ci ha riservato. Dall'accoglienza offerta con bruschette con salsiccia e cacio fuso, olive e taralli, alla scelta di cioccolatini dati al mio bambino che non aveva preso dolce, al piccolo profumatore regalato a ciascuno a fine pasto come ricordo. Ogni cameriere, a cominciare dal maitre, ha mostrato accoglienza, cordialità ed estrema gentilezza. Una esperienza davvero eccezionale. Complimenti.

Locale immerso nella Massafra vecchia, rustico da una parte, moderno nell’altra, ma comunque un luogo dove ci si sente accolti, personale gentile e attento.
Buona carta dei vini, piatti interessati come la tagliata di podolica al gorgonzola, miele e pera, un contrasto di sapori eccezionali!
Primi proposti, non provati, ma sentendo la reazione degli altri tavoli, mi sa che mi sono perso qualcosa di molto buono….prossima volta non scappa!
Dolci…non potevo non prendere il Tornerai, dolce tutto massafrese, e di una bontà assoluta.
Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.
