Update. I went back this week for the second time and I was disappointed. Starter with poor quality cured meats, soggy and unheated bread to accompany the ardo. Tasteless cutlet, the fontina didn't look like fontina. Sin.
Small restaurant, in name and in fact. Small, welcoming, good typical cuisine. I appreciated the Valle d'Aosta cutlet, which was particularly good. Service a little slow, house wine from Veneto, shame.

We finished skiing at 3.30pm and wanted to have lunch, since we hadn't done so and so they recommended this place right in the square where the Courmayeur ski lifts are located: the only place that still served hot dishes at that time. We entered and the atmosphere is really very warm, typical mountain chalet, fast and very nice service, typical Aosta Valley food cooked recently. We had a polenta concia with sausages and mushrooms on the side and also an aube stuffed with ham and fontina. Both dishes were cooked very well. We added two coffees, a water and a beer, all for €60, a more than fair price, considering the location. Super recommended, we will be back.

Today, February 15th, we stopped here for an après-ski snack.
Excellent place, very characteristic, at the base of the Courmayeur cable cars. we had lunch with polenta concia, mushrooms and sausage.
Exceptional….
Two girls of Argentine origin treated us like kings. 😉

We went for lunch yesterday in this little restaurant (literally😍) which left us pleasantly surprised. It was all VERY GOOD. Lots of choice suitable for all tastes, really sweet atmosphere, friendly staff and excellent location: we spent the morning on the slopes and took the Val Veny cable car which took us back to the car park, next to the restaurant. We had two first courses and would have loved to have a dessert too but the portions (fortunately) are generous! The truth is, you could eat two! We took the gnocchi with tomato and basil sauce and the spaghetti with garlic, oil and chilli pepper. I was enthusiastic and so was my boyfriend: I hope to return soon. The quality - price ratio is fair, considering the location and the other restaurants in the area.
