Excellent cuisine in an elegant setting.. pizza with artichokes in "tecia".. not the usual ones in oil..

A truly Italian experience. Historic Italian place, old, I think, Italian atmosphere, Italian waiters, Italian food. Typical atmosphere, cloth tablecloths, cloth napkins, bread and breadsticks on the table. Don't miss the experience.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zairo in Padova, and I can confidently say it was an extraordinary experience. The alioscoglio pasta I had was hands down the best I’ve ever tasted—perfectly prepared, full of flavor, and a true testament to Italian culinary tradition. What truly set Zairo apart, though, was their collection of the oldest, most authentic Italian desserts. Each bite felt like a journey through Italy’s rich history of sweet indulgence. The service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. If you’re in Padova, Zairo is a must-visit for anyone who loves authentic Italian cuisine and desserts. I can’t wait to return!

Fantastic place, as soon as I entered got completely immersed in this modern neoclassical room, that beautifully paintings in the wall and a set of statues setting the environment. About the food, had the house entrance, and it was this perfect carpaccio that made me question about what I knew about carpaccio. Me and my date had two different steaks from the grill, the flavour was perfect, and the sides as well, just wish it was a bit softer... The house wine is a very good deal, and it's price is hard to beat, even more taking in account the place you are. Overall, excellent place, with decent price quality ratio.

Very nice place, even though it was full we were seated immediately and the service was quick.. Good pizza and good value for money. I still recommend booking. We returned for lunch and even though it was almost 2pm they sat us down, always very kind 🙂

Zairo si trova nella splendida piazza di Prato della Valle, una delle più grandi d'Italia e d'Europa. Il locale è molto grande e sembra di essere trasportarti in un'altra epoca: lo stile classico ed elegante crea un'atmosfera fantastica. Piatti di pesce davvero notevoli, servizio impeccabile e prezzi nella fascia medio-alta (basti pensare che il coperto costa 3 euro).

I return to this restaurant after some time but I was happy to rediscover the quality and beauty that distinguishes this restaurant. This time I opted for a fish-based menu of which the first course (tagliolini al nero with crab) is one of the strong points; and then continued with the inevitable fried fish. Subsequent and well-kept location, the frescoed walls, the lighting and every detail make dinner a special moment. Careful and professional service even if I noticed excessive nervousness on the part of some members of the staff, even in front of customers. Reservations are a must and I suggest arriving at least 20 minutes in advance as there is a shortage of parking especially on weekends. The menu is varied on both the meat and fish side with different alternatives; the portions are right tending towards abundant, the quality/price ratio is decidedly good. Sufficiently rich wine list both regionally and in terms of prices. Well-spaced tables allow for a quiet tasting; the mis en place and the entire room in general are very well looked after. Extremely kind and professional waiters. I was really satisfied and will definitely come back. I highly recommend.

A place to come back. Besides the excellent location, in Prato della Valle, the inside deco is like an antique museum. Food is great, from pasta to pizza. Prices are medium. Attention is kind but slow. I recommend to book before. Bathroom is big and clean.

Questa sera abbiamo deciso di provare questo ristorante. Perfetta l’accoglienza e il servizio al tavolo. Locale molto caratteristico nel suo stile architettonico. Ottimi i piatti che abbiamo scelto. Buoni i dessert.
