Walking around Padova in a perfect September day, discovering Prato della Valle and all its scuptures... Zairo is right across with friendly and pleasant service and delicious food. We sat outside because they weather was so good, but walked inside to get to the restroom and the restaurant is unbelievably beautiful inside!! They've kept most of its story for you to see...

Daytrip via train to Padua abt 35min from Venice. Visited the Shrine of San Antonio de Padua and Prato della Valle, the largest square in Europe. Then a big lunch of antipasto Zairo of carpaccio, prosciutto, parmigiano and mushrooms. And a most excellent spaghetti ai frutti de mare. Old school elegant with frescoed walls and classic Italian cuisine.

Everything was delicious. We ordered four dishes, and they were all delicious. The black pasta dish in particular was the best I've ever had.

CHE SPETTACOLO! Sono dicono i miei amici una rompiscatole quando usciamo a cena o pranzo, non mi piace mai niente, oggi sono ENTUSIASTA E FELICE di annunciare a tutti che esiste ancora un ristorante dove qualunque cosa ordini è buonissima dico buonissima compresa la pizza. Se passate da qui non esitate a fermarvi

Très beau restaurant typique à côté du centre et de la basilique. Un personnel agréable et chaleureux et une cuisine de premier ordre pour des prix très raisonnables. Belle carte de vins ou très bons vins au verre. Nous ne pouvons que recommander.

10/09/2025: Excellent for quality and price
25/08/2025: The pizza is good. Being from the South, I grew up on Neapolitan-style pizza, and in terms of shape, thickness, and softness, it's very similar to the pizzerias in my area. I mostly go here for takeout, since I live nearby and the place is quite dated, but I'll continue to get takeout here. The staff is quite friendly. Well done.

11/09/2025: I tried the pizza by chance and I have to say it was a more than positive discovery: thin pizza, quality ingredients, a refined atmosphere, even a nice dining room if you want to eat in, I will be back... well done!
17/05/2025: If you try their pizza you will never go back, the quality of the raw materials and the wisdom with which they are treated is masterful. All the pizzas are worth trying, keeping an eye on the seasonal proposals!!!
