Good and friendly service, but the food is just not right. It does not serve the expectations of how they represent theirselves and how the prices are set. The ravioli were covered with three different sauces. Overall, a layer of thick sepia sauce was put on many dishes, such as the squid. Also, you can find their mayonaise kind of sauce on most dishes. Here, less is more in my opinion. The octopus was a bit on the chewy side. The prices might indicate haute cuisine, but it is not.

We had dinner here during a weekend, well-made food, like at home with quality raw materials, professional and fast service, with friendliness and advice, good.
Accompanied by a good bottle of rosé wine.
We will definitely return when we are in the area.

Fine dining at reasonable prices.
Even though we had reserved, the table was not free. We were offered to wait at the bar and have two drinks on the house. When the table was finally free, it took another 20 minutes until we got a card. The bread came another 10 minutes later. Unfortunately the staff's attention seemed to be focused on another table. It took over an hour before we were finally able to eat.
The pasta and fish dishes were excellent. The dish with the veal chop was “ok”.
The price-performance ratio is okay.

Great food and lovely service. The octopus, squid and pasta with cheese and black pepper were all exceptional! Easily the best we had in Menaggio.

Nice restaurant, excellent food, good service. Four stars only because we felt a bit more food would be warranted. You do not come to a place like this for an all you can eat menu, but even my wife was still hungry when we left.
BTW this is not di Paolo anymore, the place is called differently now and under new management.

Fabulous food and lovely people watching over lunch by the lake. Service was very friendly and we really enjoyed our seafood risotto and raviolo.

Very nice restaurant but disappointing!
We went there on the 2nd sunny weekend, so the service was a bit weak.
Nice terrace, the dishes are well presented, good but quite expensive for what it is, we paid €250 for two, 2 starters, 2 courses and a bottle of wine.
