Always an excellent restaurant! It's long been my go-to for textbook Piedmontese fritto misto. Last time, I had Russian salad, veal with tuna sauce, braised ox cheek served over polenta, and, of course, the fritto misto—a very good Ruchè wine, to match. The service is attentive, punctual, and friendly, right from the moment you arrive, and the chef is careful to ask if everything was enjoyed at the end of the meal. A passionate person, as skilled in the kitchen as she is kind. :) I always recommend this restaurant to my friends, and they end up thanking me. It's a sure thing when it comes to excellent Piedmontese cuisine.

We had lunch at this restaurant on January 1st. The location is simply extraordinary, a blend of peace, relaxation, spirituality, and nature. The restaurant is very welcoming and understated. The friendly staff puts you at ease. The owner, a very kind and friendly lady, is always ready to advise you on the right wine and dish. The food is overwhelming, from the appetizers to the first and second courses, and finally the dessert. A triumph of typical Piedmontese goodness. Highly recommended. Ps. A fire in the fireplace would be the icing on the cake; it would add that warmth that's sorely missing.

A beautiful restaurant in Crea 8n Piemonte, located in the small town square near the stunning sanctuary. A very characteristic restaurant with an extensive menu of typical Piedmontese products. The wine selection is remarkable. Very helpful staff. Definitely worth a visit.

I went in November 2025 with my partner. We booked directly by phone with the owner. The place is beautiful, right in front of the Marian Shrine of Crea in the small square. We had a problem with the reservation as soon as we arrived, but it was resolved within minutes by the owner, who gave us a table. Paola is a character, the beating heart of the place, a whirlwind. As soon as you meet her, you're perplexed, but by the end of the meal, you never want to leave her. She's affable, frank, genuine, honest... In short, she wins you over. Along with the two young chefs in the kitchen—the owner's daughter—their cooking is sublime, I'd dare say divine, considering the religious setting. A young Thai woman, very sweet and knowledgeable, will serve you at your table, and will attend to your every need. Beyond the food, if you enjoy walking, I recommend the devotional trail of the 23 chapels, which climbs the sacred mountain of Crea, allowing you to experience nature, history, and spirituality. We did it before lunch; without rushing, it'll take about an hour, climbing up the hills and taking in the panoramic views of Monferrato. At the end of the evening, Treville, just a few kilometers away, boasts its church of Sant'Ambrogio and its panoramic view of Monferrato, where you can watch the sunset—spectacular! Returning to Ristorante Crea, we ate a complete Piedmontese appetizer for two and some grilled vegetables. We couldn't miss the agnolotti ai tre arrosti (a kind of three-roast agnolotto) and tagliolini with rabbit sauce, both in white sauce—spectacular. We also had two glasses of Barbera Superiore and coffee, accompanied by squares of a dessert, made entirely in their kitchen, freshly baked that day. They call it Panettone (they ship it all the way to Japan). For me, that's an understatement; it was so good, soft, moist, and just the right amount of sweet, so much so that I bought one from their store and will have some shipped to me for the Christmas holidays. I've been thinking a lot about how to do justice to that delicious dessert they make with sourdough starter. Given its exquisite sweetness, its origins—a sacred Marian place—and its unique shape, I'd call it the "Sweet Chest of Creation." Don't worry, Paola, if you use it, I'll give you all the rights. In fact, it would be an honor to help give your creation further visibility. I only ask that you pay attention and be considerate when Luisa and I come back to visit you... Because we'll definitely be back, you're so talented!
