We found this restaurant by chance. There were 12 of us. They welcomed us right away, showing us the menu before we sat down to reassure us about the restaurant's prices. We ate different dishes and the service was very fast, quality food and excellent service. The waiter even offered us wine. I personally would recommend it.

A typical Palermo restaurant with a terrace and red and white checkered tablecloths. Its waiters approach you in the street to offer you a table. Simple but good Sicilian cuisine. Its pasta is delicious, its mixed salads are well-garnished, and its meats are very tender. The waiters are real actors and the atmosphere is very relaxed. The prices are very reasonable and the dishes are generous. As a bonus, a little limoncello is offered at the end of the meal, and not just once. Superb.

The waiters are charming. The food is very good, and I was surprised by the large portions of each dish, considering it's in the center of Palermo. Highly recommended.

Such a quiet, lovely place to relax after a long day with great food. Definitely recommend the Linguine Al Proverbio. Great service and a lovely host too, grazie mille Michele!! We‘ll be back on our next visit 🍝

The seafood risotto and penne a la caprese were very good! Too bad there wasn't any tiramisu when we stopped by :(. But it's still very good and very affordable.

Ristorante nel centro storico di Palermo con prodotti e cucina tipica palermitana eccellenti. Antipasti caldi e freddi di rilievo, primi abbondanti e gustosissimi, secondi di qualità. La frittura ottima e "leggera". Portate abbondanti. Personale professionale e cortese. Un particolare ringraziamento a Ninni ed Antonio per essere stati pronti ed attenti alle esigenze di noi clienti. Come concludere alla grande una serata all'insegna della scoperta di Palermo. Consigliato vivamente.

Posto situato a 2 passi dal centro , abbiamo mangiato a base di pesce , siamo rimasti molto sodisfatti per le portate, la quale abbiamo trovato qualità e quantità. personale eccellente cordiale e organizzato, il cameriere ci ha coccolato consigliandoci le prelibatezze della casa sicuramente ripeteremo questa bella esperienza.

05/10/2025: We came here on the recommendation of Osteria d'Italia and had reserved a table. We were told that the restaurant has been run by the same family for over 20 years. We love and know Italian cuisine and were particularly looking forward to the Sicilian version. We ordered three starters, one of which was to share. Initially, however, we were only served two, and only after we asked for all three came – this time even more. The bruschetta to share was excellent, but the caponata was rather overcooked and bland, and the Parmigiano was okay. For our main course, we chose the fish of the day (sea bream with capers, tomatoes, fennel, and peppers). The portion was so small that we had to ask if it was really the main course. Unfortunately, it was – the fish was barely noticeable, as it was completely overpowered by the vegetable sauce. With a glass of white wine (€9), the bill came to €81. Overall, we were disappointed with both the quality and quantity of the fish and would not eat here again.

16/08/2025: Just wow! What an amazing restaurant! It is part of the Michelin guide and for sure it deserves a star! One of the best ones I have ever been. Delicious food. Cozy atmosphere. Splendid service. Unique flavors. If you are considering going, just do it 😁
