For my grandchildren who live in France, when they come to Florence, their daily gelato is called PROCOPIO. Nothing else compares. I've had it a few times, too, and I must say some of the flavors are truly remarkable.

Excellent ice creams with a wide selection, including dairy-free and lactose-free options. The location is strategic, with a few seats inside and usually outside. They also make flavors for four-legged friends. First time I've seen anything like this.

Dios mío. El mejor helado de Italia hasta ahora. Y a un precio bastante razonable en comparación con otros también. Entre los tres probamos 4 sabores diferentes y ninguno nos decepcionó.

Castello di Verrazzano

14/09/2025: Excellent wine tour. Tour itself lasted for an hour and then 30mins for wine tasting. The guide was very knowledgeable and polite. I toured winery in Montalcino - it was a rip off at 55 euros. Verrazzano for way less 35 euros had 4 wines + cheese and balsamic vinegar and olive oil. Their wines were amazing. I have shared pics of my fav bottles. They even made us taste 2011 wine. Highly recommend this. Chianti wines are better.
12/09/2025: Great location, amazing history and wonderful service. The tour, wine tasting and food are an easy recommendation.

Caffe Rainer San Zanobi

20/08/2025: Spectacular cannellè, my favorite dessert.
28/07/2025: Caffè Reiner (and the adjacent bakery) are a sure thing for us. Their products are exceptional, and hard to find elsewhere. The cannelè are incredible, as are the puff pastry pastries. They bake so many delicious treats, you'd have to come here every week!
