While traveling through Garfagnana, I stopped in Pieve Fosciana for lunch at the Il Pozzo restaurant. It was undoubtedly a great decision, as the meal was truly delicious. We began with appetizers of cold cuts and crostini, moving on to cheese terrine with truffle, pappardelle with hare ragù, and tagliolini with truffle. We were very disappointed to skip the main courses, but we were so greedy we ordered the desserts, which made this delicious lunch a sweet end, promising ourselves we'll return to try them. Excellent and fast service, friendly staff, and a quiet atmosphere. Recommended.

The atmosphere was very nice, the food was excellent, it was a shame about the slow service, and honestly we felt abandoned, and we had gone for lunch.

Welcoming atmosphere, attentive, friendly, and helpful service. Typical Garfagnana dishes are renowned for their quality ingredients. For lunch, we ordered a delicious spelt soup and a special Florentine steak, uniquely tender and delicious. Excellent selection on the wine list. Highly recommended.

Nice restaurant, friendly and smiling staff, fast service even though the restaurant was crowded since it was Sunday lunch time. We hadn't booked but they were efficient in finding us a table.

16/11/2025: We had meat, two steaks cooked to perfection and of high quality, with a side of caramelized onions and baked potatoes. Excellent service, attentive staff, ready to accommodate every request. Highly recommended.
13/10/2025: A family-run restaurant, very cute and welcoming. The tables and chairs are very comfortable. The staff and service are exceptional, fast and polite. The food is absolutely excellent, the best tagliata I've ever had in terms of flavor and cooking. They also offer gluten-free options. A truly wonderful place. Definitely worth a try.
