Ristorante sempre sul pezzo da anni ove si respira tipicità e “toscanita’”. Il menù ben strutturato servito da personale attento e dai responsabili locale,colloca,per esperienze personali,questa trattoria,nell’elite dei locali di pari grado. Le materie prime utilizzate inoltre,sono risultate più che genuine in particolar modo la bistecca con filetto prescelta,ottima e dai sapori autentici. Rapporto qualità prezzi discreto ed esperienza più che consigliata.

Menu’ Pensacola e sculptor sup team dei legumi. Perfetta la rivisitazione che ci e’ arrivata. Ottimi I sapori e il Servizio molto accurate. Perfetta gli abbinamenti con il Brunello. Ottimo il rapporto qualita’ prezzo

Typical tavern in Sant'Angelo in Colle, a town near Montalcino. Impeccable service and venue. Excellent food and wine. The only discordant note of the evening was the dessert of the day, the chestnut pudding, which unfortunately was not up to par with the rest of the menu. Advised

We came back to the restaurant, after we’ve already ate there 4 years ago on our honeymoon. Back then, we only had pasta and loved it. Now we wanted to have the bistecca fiorentina here, but this was disappointing for me personally. We were requesting the meat to be medium, but it was mainly rare. After giving some pieces to the waiter to roast it again to be medium, they returned it, but it was still raw in the inside. Furthermore I was missing flavor in the meat (we guess it was too young - being Gastronomic people ourselves and having eaten plenty of bistecca fiorentina already, we can rate realistically). Nonetheless, the lady who owns the restaurant and all the waiters were absolutely lovely and we can overall recommend the place. I would however prefer other restaurants for the bistecca. Seeing the defensive responses from the restaurant on other reviews, I hope I will be spared 😅

I visited here 5 years ago. The T-bone steak and red wine were so delicious. I plan to visit again when I go to Montalcino.

Absolutely delicious food, great location and staff. Eat where the locals eat. The wine list is the most extensive I have seen in Italy.
