Even before the evening opening I noticed that the entire restaurant team was having dinner together at one table. And that was the deciding factor. And it was a bull's eye. Friendly service, who took the time to talk not only about food. Wonderful dishes - vegetarian lasagna, pasta with goose for my wife and an extraordinary dessert with pecorino cheese. And wine from their own vineyard - during my week-long stay in Tuscany, definitely the best place we visited.

We wanted to eat Fiorentina steak — an excellent place in a secluded, small village. The wine list is quite excellent, with a good number of local options. All the food was fine, the atmosphere is pleasant, I recommend it to everyone!

We enjoyed a lovely wine paired lunch. The food was top notch, the service was impeccable and the restaurant is lovely. We especially enjoyed the gnocchi with truffle, the braised beef and the boar.

Siamo stati in questa trattoria con famiglia e amici. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo, molto gentili nel servizio, posto bellissimo, non dò 5 stelle perché mi è piaciuto ma non al punto di dire wow. Cmq se siete in zona merita una visita.

Ottimo ristorante nel cuore di Sant'Angelo in Colle dove abbiamo passato un bel momento per il pranzo domenicale. Il Ristorante offre un tipico menu' toscano con una zuppa di verdure, pici al sugo di carne e vitello con patate, tutti piatti perfettamente abbinati sia nei gusto che nei sapori, ottimi i vini, naturalmente locali, e prezzo giusto e coerente

11/05/2025: We attended a tasting and dinner at the vineyards. The dinner was quite normal, we had high expectations, hence the disappointment. Regarding the service, it left a little to be desired, as the tasting was of 3 labels and they were not replenished.
08/05/2025: EXCELLENT FOOD, SERVICE, WINE AND LOCATION! My experience at Foresteria Villa Cerna at the end of March was truly memorable, despite a rainy day that unfortunately prevented me from enjoying the beautiful terrace overlooking the vast wine lands of the Cecchi family, in the heart of Chianti Classico. I can't wait to return in the summer, when a sunny day can make the experience even more enchanting. Despite this, eating inside the restaurant was also surprisingly pleasant. The setting is elegant without being pretentious, with a touch of minimalism that makes everything welcoming and familiar. The paintings, books, fresh flowers and bottles of wine on display add character and create a warm atmosphere. The attention to detail is evident in every corner. What makes Villa Cerna an unforgettable experience is certainly the quality of the food, the excellent service and the competence of the staff. The maître, Andrea, welcomed us with elegance and availability, telling us interesting stories and accompanying us discreetly throughout the meal, without ever being intrusive. His courtesy and professionalism were impeccable. At the end of the meal, I had the pleasure of speaking with the chef, whom I complimented for a truly excellent job. Let's move on to the dishes, which were a real delight. The seasonal menu offers a selection of dishes ranging from Tuscan tradition to more innovative creations, and it is difficult to choose which was the best of the three first courses we ordered. But, in general, everything we tasted was impeccable. We absolutely recommend everything we ordered, along with a tasting of their excellent red wines. Here is what we chose: - Grilled artichoke, Parmesan fondue, sage pesto: simple but well-balanced flavors. - Tuscan EVO oil buttons, chickpea cream, rosemary: a unique dish that unleashes all its potential once you break the button in your mouth, releasing a mix of flavors between oil, parmesan and Maldon salt flakes. - Tagliolini with truffle: the best I've ever tried. - Fabbri Fusillone, Colonnata lard, raw red prawns: a risky fish and meat dish, an experiment that was a great success anyway! - Beef tartare: the preparation with the egg inside the tartare was particularly appreciated. - Sautéed spinach: a simple dish that really surprised us with the freshness and genuine flavor of the ingredients. - Torta della nonna and cream ice cream: very good in a really successful reinterpretation. - Brownie, white chocolate namelaka and salted caramel ice cream: absolutely a must-have!

13/05/2025: Very interesting option for a dinner different from the usual if you are in Colle val D'Elsa 🍝🍖🍷 Its peculiarity is having very few seats (4/5 tables) and a very limited selection of dishes based on seasonal and daily ingredients. The times can vary based on what you order and usually the order of arrival of the dishes is said during the ordering phase based on what is taken to optimize cooking in the kitchen. The food was good and well-prepared being prepared for so few seats. I would have liked to see more meat options but the menu is variable. Nice very intimate atmosphere and kind and friendly service from the waiter (in total the staff is made up of 2 chefs and 1 waiter). ✅️If you are in the area I recommend you try it, obviously booked. Go without pretensions of eating a certain dish and see what the menu offers of the period.
