I had lunch on the day of the Immaculate Conception with two other friends, good food is plentiful and served well by Chef CIRO.

Wonderful environment, impeccable and truly courteous service, you cannot give an opinion on the food and wine and to say perfect is almost an understatement… I found the best orecchiette with turnip greens in all of Puglia here... The heartwarming chops with sauce 🥹 that make you drop your arms to your sides and exclaim: "nooo okay..." and you can't help but make the complete slipper, you can only find them here!!! Starters, cheeses and wines... top!!! Phenomenal prices…

Six of us had lunch on Sunday 27 October in this restaurant, on the tavern side, with an overall positive experience. Starting from the food, the quality of the dishes was discreet: the flavors are well balanced and the portions adequate, even if some dishes did not particularly impress me with their creativity or intensity of taste. However, we note the attention to fresh ingredients and good care in presentation. The service is one of the strong points of the place. As soon as we arrived, we were greeted with courtesy and seated immediately, without waiting. The staff were friendly and professional throughout the evening, always available to answer questions and recommend dishes, but without being intrusive. The speed of the service was impeccable: the dishes arrived at the table with well-managed times, which made the experience even more relaxing. The bill was adequate, perhaps slightly higher than the overall quality of the experience. The prices seemed more or less balanced and without any particular surprises, and in general everything seemed mostly adequate compared to the offer we received in terms of service and quality of the dishes. A special applause to the staff, who stood out for their courtesy and professionalism, maintaining constant attention towards the customer. In short, a restaurant that I recommend to anyone looking for a pleasant evening, with quick and attentive service, very attentive staff and a quality-price ratio that certainly satisfies.”

Simply amazing... a refined and refined place, excellent service... then what can we say about the dishes, one surprise after another from the entree of creamed potatoes with porcini mushrooms, surprising truffle, crispy egg with impassioned mousse and black truffle... a real pleasure on the palate like everything else.

Excellent restaurant with two large and elegant rooms entirely in stone typical of the tradition. Very intelligent choice to offer two menus in one room more chic, more refined at fair prices in the other room more sober variety in the choice at very honest prices. For obvious reasons the service in both rooms is offered by the same young professional staff and well managed by the maitre Ciro. If there was a 6 star I would give it to the first choice wine list.

Scegliendo di pranzare o cenare a Il Poeta Contadino si ha la certezza di gustare una cucina eccellente e, probabilmente di trovarsi in uno dei migliori tre locali dell'intera Puglia. Il menù è composto prettamente da pietanze di pesce prerate con ingredienti di prima qualità e porzioni proposte in giusta quantità. Senza dubbio è un locale di medio-alto livello ma, dopotutto, la qualità è giusto che si paghi. Alla finne per un pasto di tre portate, bevande comprese (vino anche al calice), si spendono mediamente circa 80-90 euro. Bello, infine, il posto ricavato da un'antica stalla a volte e decorato con una pianta di olivo e due lampadari in vetro di Murano. In definitiva: Ambiente 8 - Menù 9,5 - Servizio 9 - Rapporto qualità / prezzo 9. Ci ritornerò? se in zona, senz'altro.

leri sera è stata una serata indimenticabile! A partire dall'accoglienza del personale educatissimo e preparatissimo, continuando poi con piatti gustosi e minuziosamente preparati: imperdibili sono l'uovo al tartufo e il soufflé al cioccolato! Serata perfetta, ad eccezione della presenza di un tavolo che ha causato diversi problemi e ha messo a dura prova il personale, che comunque è riuscito a gestire la situazione con massima educazione. Ci torneremo!
