We had fried calamari and shrimp, which was amazing—hot, fresh, and tasty. Then a mixed grill of fish, with a generous amount of fresh sea bass. We ate for two and were full. This restaurant is truly worth it. The fish is prepared "as it once was," like in seafood restaurants, without the seasoning that covers the flavor. A slice of seafood in the city. Very good!

I ate the "cruditè di mare" here: a spectacular dish with sea urchins, sea dates, perceves, oysters, snails and much more. A real revelation. Everything was very fresh. Unfortunately I don't have any photos because I devoured everything.

Raw fish in Bologna is only at Orazio! Superb! Now the Chef also prepares a delicious ice cream (or a sorbet if you prefer) In the Angela room, always a certainty! It's always a pleasure to dine here, really good

Birthday dinner: delicious appetizers, both the hot mix, with unexpected inventions such as the cappa santa with caramelized onion, the octopus marinara, and the peppered mussels. The grilled meat and the gnocchi with prawns and burrata were nice and good, it's a shame about the tortelloni with monkfish filling, in my opinion a wrong dish, due to an excess of lemon peel in the filling, too bitter, and the excessively strong pecorino cheese. Good desserts. Excellent service. Noteworthy: we did not find the "wrong" dish on the bill. Adequate account. Overall I recommend it!

Osteria Buca delle Campane

17/08/2025: We discovered the restaurant by chance while passing by. We went there for dinner, and it was absolutely perfect. We got a table right away and were served right away. The food was fantastic, from the appetizer to the dessert. The service was also very good, and everything was reasonably priced. If we're ever in Bologna again, we'll definitely return to this restaurant.
04/08/2025: Tucked away in a historic courtyard, this osteria is a little underrated gem. The location is elegant in its simplicity: refined yet welcoming, it exudes a sense of peace and recalls the rhythms of times gone by. The cuisine is excellent, with generous portions and authentic flavors. Service is prompt and courteous, and prices are more than fair. A slice of true Bologna, in the heart and soul.

03/06/2025: English: Beautiful evening in company, lots of good food and lots of laughter. Sherwood is a certainty for anyone and for any need you have. With friends we stopped during the asparagus festival, now an institution for Altedo. We ate very well and we found the guys serving us, witty, funny and very helpful. There were several of us and some wanted it one way, some another, they all accommodated us, even me who doesn't eat meat, fantastic sandwich full of vegetables with cheese and Tabasco, I loved it! Of course if you expect the service of a restaurant with ten seats well, maybe it's better to move on, but moving on the festivals, the street food in general, the good eating standing up or on the bench if you're lucky is for those who don't have too many expectations, for those who love a tired but sincere smile. Those who work in these squares (all of them) have very tight rhythms and not immediately comfortable conditions, and when despite this you find the desire to smile and make jokes continuously for me, for us, you've already won. So for me, applause to all of them who also have homemade products starting from the bread they make. Congratulations guys!
