Excellent seafood restaurant. Reservations are required for dining on the seafront terrace. We chose fish meatballs and spicy octopus for appetizers. We also had linguine with lobster, paccheri with seafood vegetables, and two sea bream baked in salt with potatoes. Still and sparkling water and a bottle of Vermentino were included. For dessert, two delicious myrtle sorbets. Friendly and attentive staff. The seafood dishes were excellently prepared. Recommended if you're visiting Cala Gonone.

⭐ Ristorante Il Pescatore – A Hidden Gem in Cala Gonone ⭐ This place is an absolute standout—possibly the best restaurant in Cala Gonone and certainly one of the most memorable meals we had in Sardinia. Run by a local fisherman’s family, Il Pescatore offers both authentic charm and top-notch seafood. The service is warm and attentive; you immediately feel like a welcome guest rather than just another tourist. We had the pasta with lobster (lobsters are made alive) in tomato sauce, and it was simply fantastic—perfectly cooked pasta, sweet tender lobster, and a rich sauce full of flavor. The spaghetti alle vongole (cooked in sea water!) was, without exaggeration, among the best in Sardinia—briny, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The grilled jumbo shrimp, shrimp and lobster combo, and oysters were all incredibly fresh and beautifully prepared. The wine list is rich and thoughtful, with excellent regional options to complement the seafood. The setting is a dream—overlooking the sea, with a spectacular view that adds magic to the whole experience. It’s the kind of place that feels underrated, perhaps because it’s so unassuming, but it deserves far more recognition. 📝 Tip: Reservations are a must. We had the 1.3kg tomahawk steak, and it was absolutely outstanding. Cooked to a perfect medium, the meat was incredibly tender and juicy, with a rich, deep beef flavor that really stood out. The outer crust had a perfect crispiness, adding just the right contrast in texture. What truly elevated the experience was the touch of black salt — an unexpected but amazing bonus that added a subtle, smoky edge and brought out even more of the steak’s natural flavor. It was perfectly seasoned, expertly grilled, and at this size and quality, definitely great value for money. To top it all off, we shared a chocolate soufflé with ice cream for dessert. The soufflé was warm and molten in the center, with a rich chocolate taste that wasn’t too sweet, and the cold, creamy ice cream made it even better. A fantastic way to end a truly memorable meal. Highly recommended!

Excellent food, very close to the sea, friendly, fast, and helpful staff. It's a tourist spot, so expect tourist prices; it's not a trattoria! Highly recommended.

On Thursday, we returned from a mini cruise of the coves and stumbled upon this restaurant almost by accident... what can I say? 5 stars aren't enough for the quality of the food, everything was super excellent, and what can I say about the service... everything was top-notch!!! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to be pampered... I'll be back as soon as I can.

Great fish restaurant right by the sea. I would recommend ordering the large sharing pasta. And the fish of the day cooked in salt crust. Lovely meal in Cala Gonone. Patrizia and family will take great care of you.
