The fregula was superb!! The mixed grill and the mussels marinara were also delicious.

Good service but very expensive, rare for me to leave a review but we were very disappointed. €35 for a mixed fish grill consisting of half a fish, 1 small squid, 1 prawn and a slice of swordfish. No sauce, not veg, no salad, no seasoning… it was good quality fish but just lacking everything else you would expect from a main course. Normally prawns = more than 1.

We ate here after our boat tour and were very satisfied. Our table was on the large terrace overlooking the harbor and the parking lot, which didn't bother us. The pizza was very good and arrived quite quickly. Aperol and beer were a welcome refreshment.

The staff were incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. A highly-rated place with excellent value. The fish was incredibly fresh and the dishes were very tasty and well-prepared. We recommend everyone try it, and we'll definitely be back. ❤️

Local seaside restaurant, top-quality fresh seafood, excellent service, and friendly staff. Francesco, the maître d', has extensive product knowledge and is always attentive to detail. Highly recommended!

We recently dined here as a family following recommendation from lonely planet book. Our reception from arrival was very hostile by the waiter that greeted us. It was like getting told off at school. The service from there on was poor. We enjoyed our food and the view was beautiful. However based on the atmosphere we would not return.

We visited this restaurant with friends. The location is beautiful, right on the seafront. The interior is very clean, with delicate, bright decor. The staff was very kind and attentive, ready to help us with any requests we had. A sweet waitress took care of us, whom I thank so much here too. The dishes were delicious, the ingredients were of the highest quality, and everything was very fresh. The appetizers were excellent, as was the spaghetti allo scoglio, one of the dishes I ordered for myself. I recommend everyone to try this restaurant.

31/12/2025: What an unbelievably fantastic experience at Il Gatto Nero. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality, décor, and service were all absolutely on point. The staff, Andrea, Beatrice, Simone, and everyone we interacted with, made the evening truly special. We will definitely be back. We had some of the most amazing food we’ve enjoyed during our time in Italy, which is really saying something, because the food here is exceptional everywhere. The savory crème brûlée and the artichokes were standouts among the antipasti, and the spaghetti with zucchini cream was completely out of this world. To top it all off, my wife accidentally left her scarf behind. When we called, Beatrice, the manager and possibly the owner, personally made plans to return it to us the next day in Como Centro. That kind of care and thoughtfulness goes far beyond what anyone would expect. It was a genuinely touching gesture in a world where you rarely see that level of kindness anymore. A truly wonderful experience from start to finish.
