Il Padellino In Torino

Two of us arrived at 7:45 after a reservation; we ordered both farinata and gluten-free and regular pizza. The gluten-free farinata arrived first, then the regular one when my wife had already finished it... meanwhile, I order a medium red beer (€8.00...!!!), then I ask and ask again, finally it arrived!!! Meanwhile, my regular pizza arrives, and when it's almost gone, the gluten-free one arrives too...! A word of advice: it would be better to prioritize customer service in the dining room instead of neglecting it for takeout, which is a real non-stop rush!!!! We liked the pizza, though, and we'll definitely be back, hoping for better luck!!!! Oh, and on the way out, I meet Mr. Conte, who is also sitting at a table with his family to enjoy this pan-fried pizza!!!! He's always a gentleman... until the end, FIRZA JUVE!!! 😉

The place itself is very quaint; being famous, it obviously suffers from overcrowding, especially on weekends. The prices are excellent, and the food is equally as good. The only significant flaw was the cashier handling payments and welcoming guests. Besides being annoyingly inaccurate with wait times, she also displayed questionable patience when asked how long the wait would be beyond the time already passed (responding, "The girl's getting annoyed," precisely because of the question of what 5 minutes meant when about 15 had already passed). The rest of the waiters, however, were extremely helpful and friendly, so rather than a structural issue, I'd point out a character flaw in the aforementioned manager.

The pizza is certainly very good, no complaints about the quality. Unfortunately, however, the service wasn't up to par. There were three of us at the table, and the pizzas arrived at different times, so we had to start eating to keep them from getting cold. Furthermore, they forgot a beer, which we later cancelled because we'd already finished our meal, and we had to ask for two glasses of wine that were late in arriving. At the end of the meal, they brought us the bill without asking for it, without knowing if we'd wanted to order anything else. At the time of payment, I would have expected at least an apology for the mix-up, but unfortunately there wasn't one. A real shame, because the pizza is truly excellent, but the service could definitely be improved.

Must try! Excellent for celiacs too, with a wide selection of gluten-free options! Fair prices.

A restaurant/pizzeria I always enjoy returning to. A good, varied menu and a rich selection of pan pizzas, among the best I've ever eaten. A wide selection of desserts and wines. The service is prompt, the staff very friendly, and the prices are reasonable considering the excellent quality of the products. Better to book because I'm not the only one who appreciates this restaurant!

The pizza and farinata were excellent. The pizza was a little slow to arrive, but it gave us a chance to chat.

Excellent quality, prices, and service. The appetizer portions are large, and they also offer delicious gluten-free cuisine, certified by the Italian Celiac Association (AIC).

I returned to Padellino after a few years, and the excellent comments I remembered were all confirmed. Excellent pizza, prompt service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Good value for money.
