02/07/2026: The Piper is a beach resort located in Torre di Mezzo, a town near Punta Secca. The resort isn't huge, but it's very elegant, refined, and well-organized. Large, soft loungers with mattresses allow you to relax and enjoy the sun. The umbrellas are large and well-shaded. Each spot also has a handy table for storing your belongings. In the front row, there are four gazebo spots with a thick, comfortable king-size bed. We opted for a spot with an umbrella and two loungers, plus an extra one. The resort has an excellent restaurant and a barbecue, so you can enjoy delicious appetizers, first and second courses, as well as delicious sandwiches with freshly grilled meats. The prices are average for a beach resort. The wine list is also excellent. The staff is very helpful and courteous; they offered me coffee on the first day and liqueur on the second. In short, the Piper has become a favorite.
