I have to be honest, I was a bit disappointed, probably during Lucca Comics inevitably a bit of quality is lost and a bit of haste is added. Unfortunately I found the Tordelli too spicy with cinnamon/cloves and the ragù a little too slow and not cooked enough. For the second course I took the Rovelle, here too the tomato sauce was not cooked that much, it lacked a bit of aroma (there were definitely no capers!) and the tomato was quite acidic (like the one in the ragù). It's a renowned place so I can't believe these are the standards. I'll come back when there are no events. I add: I don't know if it was an oversight or a regular thing, we were not charged for the tap water (even if microfiltered). I find it theft to charge for tap water, so thank you for your honesty!!!!

Let me start by saying that I was there during the Lucca Comics. In any case, the food was quite good, the Lucca tordelli exceptional, the Florentine steak decent. Unfortunately the service was quite poor, nervous waiters ready to take away your plate while you were still finishing your meal. Excellent value for money.
