Nice Local atmosphere , the food is OK (not superb ) and the service was unorganized. My point of view is they do not deserved to be mentioned in Michelin Guide.

The food is simple and delicious with the freshest and highest quality ingredients. A few blocks from the tourist part of town and you’re in a very Italian place and frame of mind. The staff are friendly and have good recommendations. I hope to return again some day.

A quaint Lucca trattoria with rooms furnished in a faux-rustic style. In warm weather, you can dine in the beautiful Piazza San Francesco. The menu perfectly reflects Lucca tradition, with classic handmade tordelli and herb-filled rabbit taking center stage. The wine list is interesting and well-chosen, with excellent selections, especially local ones. Service is provided by young but well-trained staff. It's a shame about the long wait between the first and second courses; fortunately, there was a lovely breeze in the square that made the wait a little easier.

21/08/2025: We went last night, and I must say the experience far exceeded my expectations. The tagliatelle al ragù was simply extraordinary: perfectly cooked pasta and topped with a rich, flavorful ragù. The pork shank with potatoes was truly a surprise: incredibly tender and beautifully seasoned. The service also deserves special mention: the waiters were always attentive and helpful. The wine list is also noteworthy, very extensive and featuring select labels that pair perfectly with the dishes. The warm and welcoming atmosphere made everything even more enjoyable. It's definitely a place we'll happily return to.
