Ci sono tornato qualche mese dopo, e stavolta non solo c'erano i galletti ma pure i porcini. Tormentato dalla indecisione, la cameriera mi propone di fare metà pizza ai porcini col grana e metà con i galletti. Il risultato, in foto, è stato un successo, era come mangiare due pizze in una, entrambe davvero buone. I funghi, come dicevo in precedenza, sono raccolti dagli ex titolari. Spesa chiaramente più alta dell'altra volta, ma comunque assolutamente accettabile e, vista la qualità, pure molto onesta. Non posso che ribadire il mio giudizio totalmente positivo.

Came across this place on our way back from the Lerici beach. The place is packed and you need reservations beforehand. They offered us a table inside and that is in the same space as the oven. It is summer with 34 degree and we sat inside! The heat is albeit unbearable. The food on the other hand, is impeccable!

A few evenings ago we went to the Il Mattatoio pizzeria, we have been customers for many years, and we were surprised to find the new management. All good as always, the Aurora focaccia delicious and the pizza perfect in flavor and also always perfect cooking, very refined flours are used. I recommend this pizzeria, I have never been disappointed, even in the prices. I forgot the service and the desserts, perfect.

18/08/2024: Il locale ci era stato consigliato da un residente, pertanto, non ci abbiamo pensato due volte di andare a provarlo. Molto rustico, dà l’idea di essere una bracerìa, esteticamente è situato poco sopra il centro di La Spezia. Che dire, superbo. In tutto: dalla qualità del cibo, specialmente della carne, al servizio. Impeccabili. Simpatici e cordiali. Menzione particolare al ragazzo calvo che assisteva la griglia (non me ne voglia per averlo identificato così) di cui, purtroppo, non ricordo il nome che tra battute e servizio ha reso la permanenza divertente e piacevole! Atmosfera allegra e gioiosa. Assolutamente consigliato!
