After years of holidays in the area, last night we accidentally discovered this place. Excellent and quality food, informal and friendly service! We had dinner here for two nights in a row, two families with children. We will definitely be back. Thanks to the lady for making us feel at home

In this place the typical Roman dishes are cooked very well and with top quality ingredients. The place is typical of a trattoria and the staff is very kind and welcoming. We ate a variety of first courses, second courses and side dishes. Everything was delicious and I was tempted to have a seconds round. Highly recommended.

Una sera di maggio un po' freddina magnificamente riscaldata a tavola dal Marchese Luigi che qui sfodera il suo repertorio di cucina romanesca. Antipasti tipici: baccalà fritto, carciofi alla giudia, polpettine, verdure grigliate Primi in assaggio misto (porzioni generose) gricia, amatriciana e cacio e pepe. Chi ha preso abbacchio, chi uno stinco che troneggiava nel piatto...insomma non s'è potuto dialogare molto tra noi nove commensali. Tutti impegnati a tavola. Se siete qui, penserete di essere a Roma! Buon appetito!!

Ci sono ritornato per la 5 volta negli ultimi anni, sempre più soddisfatto dei piatti romani presentati da Luigi, titolare del ristorante, persona sempre molto disponibile con i clienti!!! Lo consiglio a tutti👍

The cooking is amazing. Everything it’s cooked on the spot, so you have to be really patient because the service is super slow. Inside there’s a bohemian interiors design, old fashion and chic. Recommend only if you don’t have any plans afterward.

Trattoria Il Frantoio

20/06/2025: Lunch on April 24th: ups and downs. The interior is well-kept and elegant, the outdoor terrace is nice but a little more spartan. Service a little slow, it was supposed to be rainy but in the end there were about ten tables, maybe they weren't expecting it. Mixed appetizer good but nothing crazy. Good first courses and desserts. So why ups and downs? The salad was full of insects, ours as well as the one at the next table, they took it out on the supplier but it was clear that it hadn't been washed. The prawns on the other hand had a strange color, they were dried up and had a strange flavor. Since there were supposed to be 5, and in reality there were 4 on the plate, they kindly brought 3 more, and from there we understood that the previous ones were perhaps leftovers from the previous days. The new ones were nice and red and meaty. Too bad.
17/06/2025: Friendly and professional staff. Highly recommended for those who travel along the cycle path
