The most kind and friendly staff ever! The food here is so delicious, like someone’s nonna made it just for us. The fried appetizer with squash blossoms, arancini, artichoke and cod was amazing. The Caprese salad was so fresh and delicious. We tried the gnocchi, carbonara and cacio e pepe, all were wonderful. We ended the meal with some tasty tiramisu. Loved our rosè wine from Abruzzo. Barbara our server was the BEST!

The appetizer was good. The carbonara is excellent and the cacio e pepe is excellent. We will be back. We returned after a week. We tried the carbonara again because it was excellent for us and the Giudia artichokes which I had never eaten before. They are very good. Highly recommended

Not even in Rome have I eaten such good carbonara. I thank the owners and staff for their welcome and kindness. I will happily come back :)

È un posto accogliente e molto buono, si vede che è romano perchè i proprietari sono ristoratori romani. Carbonara buonissima ( io sono di Roma ) e il nuovo spazio specializzato nella carne alla brace è molto buona. Il personale è molto simpatico e accogliente.

Back after a long time and it's always a guarantee for those who want to taste a bit of Roman cuisine... I think it's the only one in the area. The first and second courses are all delicious.

11/12/2023: Small, welcoming, warm place in the center of Gissi. Homemade cuisine carefully prepared by the owner's wife. A simple cuisine, like feeling at home, but definitely good. Abundant dishes, bottled wine at an appropriate price. Cold and hot local appetizers, guitar with ragù, truffle ravioli and a generous mixed roast, cooked under the tile as per Abruzzo tradition, the tender and tasty meat melted in the mouth. Homemade dessert, typical Abruzzo dogge pizza, truly delicious, coffee, bitters all included in the price, which in my opinion is really reasonable. Friendly staff, modest but familiar environment. Advised
28/09/2023: Perfect restaurant/sandwich shop starting from the very kind and helpful staff. the place is very nice, not very big but with plenty of seats both inside and outside, the food is really excellent, both the pasta (first course) and the meat (second course) (the meat is really fresh and soft)
