The dishes are really excellent, worth the wait. Unfortunately you cannot book, but I repeat it is worth the wait. Honest prices. Short waiting times between one dish and another.

During a walk along Via delle Volte, we came across this family-run osteria by chance, and we were really lucky because we found exactly what we were looking for. The place is welcoming, with a warm and familiar atmosphere, even if they don't accept reservations, which makes the place quite busy during lunch time. The real star of the menu is the homemade pasta, which immediately won us over: we tasted the famous pumpkin cappellacci and cream tortellini, both prepared with a generous amount of filling and with an irresistible flavour. As a second course, we couldn't help but try the famous salama da sugo, accompanied by a creamy mashed potato, which completed our meal perfectly. To end on a sweet note, we opted for a homemade tiramisu, which did not disappoint expectations. The total lunch, water included, was €53, a more than fair price for the quality and quantity of the dishes. A wonderful discovery that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for excellent traditional cuisine in a familiar and welcoming environment.

Really excellent: the place is clean and well furnished and the staff is friendly and helpful. The food is homemade and really good. I recommend it, approved.

Esperienza particolare: si fa la fila alle 12, ascolti le regole, entri se avanza posto e solo se tutti presenti, ti siedi e mangi quello che è rimasto al momento. Pasta fatta in casa, tutto buonissimo!
Gestione tutta al femminile.

Today I took a dive into beautiful memories, when my grandmother, from Ferrara, made cappelletti in broth for me... Everything was exceptional, the food and the service. The owner, a wonderful lady, with the passion in her eyes that she shows in her dishes. Highly recommended! Don't miss out on genuine things made from the heart.

Abbiamo trovato per puro caso questo meraviglioso ristorante. Prima volta a Ferrara e non sapevo dove andare e in un vicolino nascosto c’era una porta piccolina. Dentro pieno di dettagli che raccontano la storia ed è arredato con gusto. E la cucina fantastica. I fiori di zucca fritti sono migliori che abbiamo mai mangiato. I piatti tipici ferraresi ottimi e anche dolci buonissimi.
