A very rustic place, but the fact that it's surrounded by nature makes it unique and fantastic. We had a polenta appetizer with bacon and melted cheese, truly excellent, and a first course each (tortellini with butter and sage, tagliatelle with meat sauce, and tagliatelle with mushrooms). We also had water and coffee. The price was very fair, and the waiter was truly helpful and polite. We had a bad weather day, so there were very few people, which allowed us to get excellent service. I would gladly return, especially to fully experience the landscape.

It's just a shame that when I spoke to the manager, he offered me a table for a limited time, while I was booking for the mid-August lunch. It's a lovely place, after all.

In attesa dell'esplosione della stagione stiva, nei fine settimana si può scegliere questo gioioso angolo delle colline modenesi per rilassarsi, godere il fresco del torrente, osservare la gente pescare e mangiar bene. Crostini ai funghi caldi e deliziosi, gnocco con salumi e formaggi discreto, un notevole tortellone di spinaci con ripieno di patate e sugo di trota, grigliata mista con un agnello notevole e una deliziosa salsiccia, dolce, vino a caraffa per un prezzo accettabile e un servizio informale ma di qualità. L'ambiente poi vale doppio

12/09/2025: A vast natural setting, surrounded by animals and lush greenery, the exceptional dishes, from appetizers to dessert, are all surrounded by a beautiful view of the Modena mountains. Excellent value for money. An oasis of peace where you can recharge your batteries.
10/08/2025: Restaurant review. I expected more, given what I'd heard. As for the food, they brought us the menu without asking or even asking. It was all game: tagliatelle with wild boar, sedanini (locally bought) with chanterelles, a very good sliced venison, a very flavorful roast wild boar, and a frozen tiramisu. What I missed was that, even though the waitress came promptly and precisely to bring us everything in perfect condition, no other member of the staff, owner, or chef, showed up to exchange a word or a greeting. This left me a bit disappointed, considering such a long trip and such a beautiful place. Maybe they had other commitments, but for the price, I would have expected added value.
