Superlative is an understatement! Excellent wild boar ragù and polenta with venison, and amazing arrosticini! Highly recommended if you're in the area!

A quaint mountain restaurant in Civitella Alfedena, all stone, with a fireplace and an indoor well. The owner and staff are very kind. The food is excellent... cheeses, game cured meats, delicious first courses, and excellent meats. The almond desserts are also delicious. Wonderful Christmas lunch 🎄.

A very quaint and well-kept restaurant, even inside. The staff were very kind and helpful, and the service was fast. The food was delicious: we tried the pappardelle with wild boar ragù and the strozzapreti with sauce, saffron, and sausage. The mutton arrosticini were also very tender and tasty. Prices were average.

A charming place, the staff were kind and helpful, even though we were a few minutes late. We ate wonderfully, featuring quality, local produce. We'll definitely be back.

We discovered this place almost by accident, but it's a place where we enjoyed uniquely delicious dishes in a truly welcoming and typically mountain setting. The service is impeccable, as is the owner's helpfulness. I hope to return on my next vacation in Abruzzo ♥️

Coming to the Abruzzo National Park is always a pleasure, in any season, personally I prefer autumn for the foliage, one of the restaurants dearest to me is the Guado della Valle, it is a riot of tastes, together with friendliness, experience and professionalism, well done, well done well done...Francesco never disappoints 👏👏👏👏

Ho frequentato questo ristorante per una settimana a cena durante un periodo di vacanze. Grande varietà di primi e secondi tutti di ottima fattura e nella quantità adatta a chi passa la giornata in montagna! Staff solerte e disponibile, proprietario gentilissimo e di grande comunicativa. Una prossima vacanza so dove andare! Ad maiora semper.
