I reserve the fifth star for a stupid thing that happened, the very professional and kind waiter let slip a comment that I didn't appreciate, a place of this level should always remain professional in tone and not be guilty of too much confidence, for the rest the cuisine is very good and they also have a wide choice of wines.

We often come to Gozzo because we really enjoy it! The food is delicious and the value for money is excellent, plus the staff is very kind and friendly. Super recommended!

Arriving by chance, after a splendid day in Pisa, we were greeted with a "Sorry, but everything is full", but since the environment struck us with its elegance and discretion we decided to wait a bit, cheered by an excellent Vermentino. It was worth it! Delicious food and wines (the trio of tarare 😍) and impeccable service. Praise for the waiter, a truly exquisite person.

Il gozzo è un ristorante di mare nel pieno centro di Cascina. Il locale ha un’atmosfera accogliente e calda. La mise en place ai tavoli è essenziale ma elegante . Il servizio è cortese, ma mai formale. Il menù propone piatti di mare per certi versi anche molto classici e senza eccessivi fronzoli o stravaganze. Si capisce che si punta tutto sulla qualità e sulla freschezza degli ingredienti e soprattutto del pesce. Ho assaggiato il tris di antipasti ( da condividere con un altro commensale) che prevedeva un’insalatina di seppie molto delicata con degli asparagi, un polpo accompagnato da un delizioso hummus di ceci e un abbondante impepata di cozze. Come piatto principale ho scelto un risotto con scampi e mantecato con burrata. Il risotto risultava cremoso e avvolgente. Ho apprezzato la qualità dei piatti che comunque sono piuttosto sostanziosi e e l’originalità e la cortesia del personale di servizio. Ci tornerò di sicuro anche perché la prossima volta dovrò assaggiare il “crudo”.

Location intima ed elegante. Musica sottofondo perfetta. Piatti di mare ottimi e di qualità superiore …. Tartare tonno fantastica. Paccheri gragnano ottimi. Vini suggeriti dal proprietario perfetto!
