I had (unfortunately, having practiced my beloved sport, Motocross) the fortune and honor of being operated on in the best and most competent hands at the San Matteo Hospital (PV) and Dr. D. Sfondrini. It all started on April 18, 2016... following a head injury resulting in a fracture of the right mandible, I underwent special surgery and still benefit from the expertise received from the head physician and best team at the San Matteo Hospital. They performed a divine operation, and the maxillofacial department gave me the opportunity to be here again, well, or better than before, even with the titanium plate. I will always cherish all the excellent doctors and nurses who helped me. Well done, keep it up. An excellent hospital deserves an award. Don't hesitate to seek their help. I have been hospitalized since Sunday 23/3 for the removal of a residual glioma, on the seventh floor of the neurosurgery department. I wanted to thank from the bottom of my heart the head physician for his humanity and professionalism, also Dr. Guerrini, and all the nursing staff for their kindness, availability and empathy, something difficult to find lately. Just a thank you is not enough, and it is something fundamental for me.

I underwent successful surgery 50 days ago for double vision (after 40 years due to a paralysis of the eye muscle that no one had ever understood) by Dr. Bertone, who was incredibly skilled, both herself and the entire operating room staff and the entire ophthalmology department. It changed my life!!!! Thanks also to Dr. Musumano, who made all this possible. I will never forget you.

I'm not giving it five stars only because the Policlinico building is very old, bordering on dilapidated, and inside the complex, it's impossible for wheelchair users to navigate the sidewalks due to the lack of ramps for getting in or out, or because they're crowded with cars parking everywhere. Otherwise, the facility fully deserves its reputation, especially thanks to all the staff. I fully recommend it.

I'm being treated in the Infectious Diseases Unit. The hepatologist is excellent and meticulous, and the reception staff is kind and extremely helpful. I don't know what to say better. Thank you.
