If you are looking for a typical restaurant, where you feel like you are eating at the real Italian Mama's, then I highly recommend this place!
The dishes are fresh, original and hearty. You have to make a reservation to get a table!

What does it mean to eat at your home, even though you are in the center of Florence?
It means Giova. Homemade and excellent culinary experience, typical dishes of excellent quality and abundant quantities, certainly above the Florentine average. The cost of a meal is below many trattorias in the city, an incredible value for money! The location deserves respect, being a fairly small place, it brings you back to a welcoming atmosphere and the owners, together with those who work WITH them (and not FOR them, big difference), make the stay pleasant for all diners.

Visitamos esta trattoria propiedad de la familia por recomendación de nuestro anfitrión del apartamento y un largo tiempo residente de Firenze. La comida era deliciosa - nos encantó nuestro pici con ragu di cinghiale (la mano gruesa - pasta enrollada de la Toscana con un jabalí ragu) y osso bucco. Pensamos que el precio incluyendo 2€ por cabeza de coperto, MÁS 2€ por agua era un poco empinado, pero tal vez esto es razonable para Firenze.

Delicious, home-style food!
We visited this family owned trattoria on the recommendation of our apartment host and a long time resident of Firenze. The food was delicious - we loved our pici con ragu di cinghiale (the thick hand-rolled pasta of Tuscany with a wild boar ragu) and osso bucco. We thought that the price including €2 per head coperto, PLUS €2 for water was a little steep but maybe this is reasonable for Firenze.

So glad I came to this restaurant for dinner! I found a recommendation for it online in someone’s travel blog, and they were mentioned positively for their tiramisu.
My partner ordered the Osso Bucco which they absolutely loved, and I had risotto - perfectly cooked, ideal consistency. We then had the tiramisu for dessert and it was excellent. Highly recommend.

LOCALE decisamente piccolo (tavoli a distanza di una spanna) ma molto accogliente. Arredo spartano.
CIBO ottimo il fritto di verdure, squisito il filetto ai porcini. Carta vini sguarnita di bottiglie di qualità
