10/10! This turned out to be one of my favorite dining experiences ever, anywhere. Our group of 5 took a chance and walked in with no reservation when they opened, and they very kindly made room for us. Everything from the food, drinks, service, and atmosphere was incredible. The prices were very reasonable, especially compared to the value and the unforgettable experience we had. The squid ink pasta and pistachio cake are must try items. I highly recommend Il Gabriello and cannot wait for my next chance to come back here!

Definitely a quality restaurant, both in terms of service (very kind) and raw materials. The environment is very welcoming. The only flaw? 4 slices of bread for 10 euros is a slap that I don't think customers deserve.

We arrived around 9:30 p.m. without reservation on a Thursday. We were seated in a pleasant table in a very Italian atmosphere and with few tourists. The dishes were of very good quality washed down with proseco. The meloncello offered at the end of the meal concluded a successful evening. With experienced and very professional staff. We recommend to lovers of good Italian food. For a hundred euros for two.

Ok. Tried a bit too hard and we won’t be going back. Nice looking restaurant but a little lacking in atmosphere. Interesting menu and good wine list. The individual dishes were ok but each was a little disappointing. Beef carpaccio starter was the star. No tiramisu on the menu !!!

Ristorante Bastianelli Dal 1929

12/04/2025: Along the canal instead of the old bastianelli. Great deals at off-the-beaten-path prices. Highly recommended.
12/04/2025: Very kind and attentive staff, recipes with top quality fresh fish, surprisingly prices equal to lower level restaurants. The location is very central in front of the Fiumicino canal. We will be back.
