Il Gabbiano In Parma

We sat down last night around 9:30 pm, and the restaurant was definitely not full, they took our order (after we asked the waiters that we were ready) only at 10 pm. While waiting they didn't even bring us water. We order pizzas and drinks. They asked us if we wanted something to nibble on before the pizzas... yes ok that's fine. Well yes, they brought us some chips but still nothing to drink... Then the drink arrives calmly (one beer was different from what we asked for)... and the pizzas... Special but good pizzas. We ask for an additional bottle of water and it takes a while to arrive (the restaurant was practically empty). After further prompting (to the owner I think) they bring us water. Coffee and then we go to the cashier. There were 6 of us (25€ per person which seemed a bit too much). I can't recommend it, and I'm sorry about that. Too many, too many mistakes and long waits. For us an almost insufficient rating

The pizza is very good, once it's done it's really special. The raw materials used are of excellent quality. Perhaps I would recommend including draft wine among your choices. Very kind and attentive staff.

We stopped for a quick pizza, professional service and attentive waiters, a thin and crunchy pizza, even when pulled, good as were the ingredients, perhaps a little lacking in tomato. We didn't try the desserts but they looked very good and homemade... maybe for the next time 😉.

Easy to reach: practically at the Parma Centro exit. The hotel located above the restaurant is also excellent, guaranteeing a comfortable and quality overnight stay with ample parking. Meanwhile, the vast menu of the restaurant-pizzeria offers a very wide choice, to be consumed comfortably in a seraphic and beautiful environment cared for by the wisdom of its managers: people who work with passion and love. I highly recommend it. P.S. you won't be able to leave without tasting the mega pizza; it would be a culinary sin not to.
