The pizza was good, even the meat, but I had called at least three days before to see if they had gluten-free pizza and chips for my celiac daughter, and they told me there were no problems. Then, on the evening of dinner, they only had pizza, they couldn't make chips, and no dessert. I was honestly a little disappointed.

A mid-September evening in Spello. Dinner at Frantoio, a charming restaurant within the city walls. Excellent food, expertly cooked and delivered in the perfect amount of time to achieve top-notch quality. Anyone who complains about the "long wait" deserves to go to one of those fast, bland restaurants just a hundred meters from this enchanting place. We ate wonderfully; hand-rolled pasta with excellent sauces and dishes worthy of applause: the pork shank was exceptional and the house wine was delicious. The prices were very fair and the staff was helpful and friendly. Special thanks to the waitresses and the blonde woman at the counter, whose name I don't know. Finally, a round of applause for the chef! If I ever return to Spello, I'll only eat there!

We had to wait 10 minutes because it was very busy and we really wanted to sit outside, but it was absolutely worth it. Wonderful pizza, delicious wine, very friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere on our first evening in Spello. And all at incredibly reasonable prices. We'll definitely eat there again.

We had lunch at this restaurant during a short family vacation. The staff was incredibly kind; they seated us and brought us drinks while we waited for the kitchen to start working, as we were early for service. Both the waitress and the owner, Mrs. Luciana, made us feel at home, treated with kindness and warmth. We had the hand-cut fettuccine and the ravioli, which were truly delicious. They brought our little girl's pasta right away and then entertained her with markers and drawings. If we're ever in this area again, we'll definitely be back! Thank you so much!
