A few days' trip to Umbria, we visited Spello one afternoon and decided to stay for dinner that evening. I browsed around and chose Frantoio to try the pizza.
We were warmly welcomed (perhaps the initial welcome was a bit overwhelming), we sat down and ordered. The wait was relatively short, and the pizza was excellent, both in presentation and flavor. We finished with dessert, coffee, and a nice truffle liqueur.
The bill was also reasonable, despite there being four of us.
A must try!

The food was good. The staff was friendly, but one thing I didn't like was that they brought all the dishes at once. People go to restaurants to talk and eat slowly; if I were in a hurry, I would have stopped at a fast food restaurant.

So, a 3.7 rating???? Are we crazy?! The food is of the highest quality, with a wide variety and friendly service. The atmosphere is traditional, clean, and fresh. Praise, praise, praise.

We thought they were local products, but the products used in the kitchen were from the MENU company, so the creams and sauces were already prepared.
Then, when the appetizers, first courses, and pizza arrived a few minutes later, we didn't know where to put them.
Basically, we choked on everything in a rush.
I understand it was packed, but...

With friends we went to this pizzeria, thin but good pizza, not many types of beer and unfortunately not very fresh. It is still good with a friendly but not intrusive service. Recommended

Nuestro lugar favorito para cenar en Spello. Comimos en una serie de l restaurantes de alta gama (en las altitudes más altas de
Spello) pero la comida le pareció pesada y cara. El ambiente y la comida aquí era mucho más ligero. El cacio e pepe ravioli era excelente, las pizzas estaban maravillosamente cocinadas en el horno de leña y consistentemente delicioso, y el vino era excelente y a un precio apropiado. Muy recomendable.
