Il Flauto di Pan In Ravello

La comida era exquisita como cabría esperar de un restaurante con estrella Michelin en Ravello. Disfrutamos del menú degustación con vinos maridados y me alegraron el día sirviendo Donnafugata Ben Rye con postre, mi bar de vinos de postre favorito ninguno. La atención al detalle fue excelente y el personal fue atento y amable, permitiéndose ser conversado donde a menudo no están en establecimientos similares en Francia. En general, una excelente comida, pero aférrate a tu cartera. Es caro. Incluso para los estándares de la Costa Amalfitana.

Had a really great lunch here. So beautiful. The reviews were not great but we had the mushroom pasta and seafood risotto with vegetable salad. Everything was so perfect. They exceeded expectations. And the view was so enjoyable.

We took the seven course set. I really liked the appetizers. The three main courses were average, the dessert average. Service and snacks very good. The wine list is insane... luckily, a very good wine was chosen. The place itself has a simple toilet like everywhere else. It must be said that usually when visiting michelin places, the stomach is empty, but here it was super full. It was an experience when some of the meals are not worthy of a michelin star, and in fairness, the total amount could be a third less.

Abbiamo trascorso una serata indimenticabile a Villa Cimbrone in un contesto di grande classe ed eleganza. Abbiamo cenato al ristorante Il Flauto di Pan ed apprezzato la cucina dello chef Lorenzo Montoro che valorizza i prodotti locali e del proprio orto esaltandone i sapori. Abbiamo bevuto dell’ottimo vino prodotto da storiche cantine del posto. Di assoluta qualità il servizio. In sintesi, una straordinaria esperienza.

This is our third time here , first time since after Covid. The first times we came here there was a live band playing and the atmosphere was extremely busy and everything seemed to jive perfectly and even had a washroom attendant. Seemed like everything was on point, we always had a meal infront of us and there was always new butter/oils with different bread between meals even complimentary wine pours. This time around while the food was extremely good and as good as the first times we were here, seemed much more limited, there was only bread served to us at the start, which is perfectly okay but often left waiting for food or engagement. We were there at 8pm on a Sunday and it was pretty quiet with only a DJ which was a new and different perspective , a lot less staff and no bathroom attendant. The staff didn’t seem to work as well together as they used to, we often saw them rush each other or it was extremely evident when something wasn’t right, we shouldn’t be hearing the gossip or having to feel the stress from behind the scenes. Perhaps we came on an off day but since we have come here after the Michelin star, things seem abit different quality wise in the experience, they did forget our last dessert but my wife was full therefore couldn’t eat another meal so we didn’t bother. They also were cleaning up the side tables and everything while we were finishing up which made us feel more rushed to get out the door but the food was good once again don’t get me wrong and the staff was nice. Not to put anything down but simply an observation, will have to come by again to truly see

Don’t let the Google star review deter you from eating here! This is probably the best service we’ve had on the Amalfi coast and we’ve eaten at a lot of Michelin restaurants while on vacation. Not to mention their food was fantastic! You have the option to do a la carte or a tasting menu; we opted for a la carte and it did not disappoint. From the bread to the aperitivo‘s to the mains- it was all fabulous. They knew it was our honeymoon and made us a special treat at the end!! You should eat here
