Don’t miss this spot when you’re in Matera! Our sandwiches were incredible (burrata, mortadella, pesto) and the service was warm and inviting. Highly recommend!

It's worth deviating a bit from the main road for the best panini we've had in Italy. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, and the tiramisu made by the owner is one of the best we've had in the region. Definitely a place worth recommending :)

The owner is incredibly kind and friendly. Very welcoming. We tried the delicious fiordilatte knots and a generous portion of tiramisu! Very fair prices, highly recommended!

Very slow I used up an entire jar of pesto, so while it looked nice, the basil pesto was too salty. The truffle was delicious, and the cheese was delicious, too.

Best sandwich ever!! It's a real treat; the ingredients are fresh and of incredible quality. The sandwiches are prepared fresh and the ingredients are freshly cut. The portions are very generous; the sandwich is well worth the price. And the owner is very welcoming :) You really have to try this place!! Lucie and Éloïse from Nantes

16/10/2025: We loved it here! One of our favorite restaurants in Italy; probably the best. The waiter and chef worked with us to plan our menu (our Italian skills were... eh) and they made sure we ended up with food choices that were good for us and the whole nice was a great success.

02/11/2025: For the first time, I came to Pomarico, a stone's throw from Matera, for work, and on the recommendation of some acquaintances, I was directed to this restaurant. I couldn't have given better advice. The food is truly excellent. The veal tagliata is spectacular, with a side of country-style potatoes. Even though one of the house specialties is horse meat, whose cuts are processed in various ways, including the diaphragm, which is very difficult to find, both for veal and horse. The only flaw, if I may say so, but it's not so much a criticism as a recommendation, especially since I stand by the five-star rating, is the bottle of Primitivo di Manduria. It can't be served chilled; it's blasphemy. Otherwise, everything was excellent. I hope to return. Highly recommended. See you next time.
