Just one place I would ABSOLUTELY recommend if you're traveling to Rome or this part of the city. We went there twice during our three days here, and the first time was such a pleasant surprise, not only for the exceptional value for money, but also for the kindness and wonderful smiles of their staff! The owner took the time to make us laugh and passionately recommend his products, which was very much appreciated. He also offered us desserts and then served us glasses of their house wine filled to the brim! 😅 In short, a restaurant like few others in a city like few others 🤯

best dining experience i’ve had so far in went here twice. the pizza is delicious and the carbonara put everything to shame. but the real star of the show was the owner and wait staff, who were so kind and absolutely amazing with us. will need to come again next time i’m in the country

After a terrible day getting pickpocketed and no longer feeling comfortable walking around the city - the host was so welcoming and made us feel as if we were dining in his home. The food was exceptional and the ice cream was amazing.

Used this restaurant as a rest stop after a long walk. Two lemon soda and a bottle of water and we were on our way. Waiter was nice.

Our first night in Rome. Delicious dinner at Il Fiammifero Strano! The fettuccine with sausage and mushrooms was amazing, and the service was great. Loved vibe and the cookies were a perfect sweet touch! The owner was very friendly and welcoming.

Gratamente sorprendido de encontrar este restaurante. Platos de pasta casera eran excepcionales. El servicio era de primera categoría, nos hizo sentir como familia. Los precios eran tan razonables y el costo del vino también! El propietario incluso incluyó postres gratis. Tuvimos muchas risas con el propietario mientras disfrutamos de nuestra experiencia gastronómica. ¡Definitivamente consigue los platos de pasta caseros!

30/07/2025: A lovely pit stop for the best gelato in town. Multiple size cups to pick from or cones if you choose. So many flavors but not enough nights to try them all!

26/07/2025: We had dinner as a family, two adults and two little girls. It's been a while since I posted a review, but I really felt like leaving my contribution because we had a wonderful time. The staff is so kind; we chatted pleasantly with a young woman who coordinated all the dining room staff. She was as talented as her colleagues and very sweet with the little girls. The food is what you hope to eat in Rome. The traditional pastas, the bread, and a good red wine. We had the Gricia, Cacio e Pepe, carbonara, and Roman meatballs. Excellent flavors, filling portions, and more than reasonable prices. The place is frequented mostly by locals, and also welcomes many tourists, but always with the consistency of a traditional restaurant, where local Romans eat well. Many compliments indeed. Oh, they'll definitely bring them, but if you miss them, ask for the biscuits at the end of the meal; you won't understand. Wonderful.
