Nothing special. I also found it expensive: we waited about 20 minutes for the pizza. The menu isn't very varied, so don't count on mussels or fish. There are cheaper and better places.

We ate "octopus with pesto sauce" as an appetizer, "tortellino crema di parmigiano e zafferani" and "pizza parmigiano" for the main course, everything was very good, the portions are okay! At the end of our lunch, our excellent waiter (Michele) suggested a "pistachio cheesecake" which blended perfectly with the other flavors of the dish and the homemade Pignoletto sparkling wine! We will be back again!

Il Desiderio is a restaurant that always surprises. The location is beautiful. The staff is very professional, kind, and polite. The chef constantly offers new, increasingly surprising dishes with original combinations of ingredients. The food, from appetizers to desserts, is an absolute delight. The pizzas are equally delicious. As mentioned previously, Il Desiderio is a true gem in Bologna, not to be missed if you want to eat well and with quality ingredients, from meat to fish.

La pizza è buonissima, abbiamo mangiato all'esterno, bella atmosfera. Il personale è veloce e disponibile. Ci siamo trovati benissimo sia per il cibo sia per i prezzi. Torneremo sicuramente!
