08/06/2025: We were with some colleagues from Villa Sofia and our wives in this historic restaurant, a memory of our youth, where we ate divinely well. The first courses were delicious, I had the gnocchi alla bava made with sweet cheeses blended very well, my wife also ate a good first course, tagliatelle with ragù of an indescribable flavor as good as it was. The second courses were all delicious, I had some very good lamb chops with exquisite baked chips. The staff was very professional and kind. In particular, Mr. Roberto, very kind, gave us good advice on both the first and second courses and recommended a good wine, the Syrah from the Sallier de La Tour estate. We finished by eating the almond semifreddo with hot chocolate, invented many years ago by the patriarch of Chef Cascino Salvatore. We will be back with great pleasure.
