the setting is exceptional and it's true that we pay heavily for it in the bill. We ate well but nothing exceptional. Watch out for the “coperto”. These are the table costs (cutlery-tablecloths-napkins, etc.) which amount to €4 per person. there were 5 of us, the bill increased by €20. 180€ for 5 for aperitifs and 3 desserts, it's true that it's expensive.

We ate at this restaurant knowing that for where it was located it would be expensive and so it was. We took a Florentine steak, a grilled beef fillet and a salad, everything came out without seasoning and tasteless... It's true that they brought us the usual tray with oil, vinegar and salt at the table, but being a restaurant I expect that minimal seasoning is provided. The Florentine steak couldn't be cut and we were subjected to jokes from the waiter. Out of politeness we didn't say anything because I understand that the Florentine is holy for the Tuscans and those who are not local don't always understand about cooking and taste, but there is a limit to everything.

4 of us ate there for lunch. Air-conditioned room. Very friendly waiter. We had 2 pizzas, 1 Milanese escalope. It was very good, quantity-wise we were satisfied. But it's very expensive. Like the other comments, you pay for the location.

Nice terrace on the square. Good food and drinks. Affordable. Staff were quite friendly. It's mainly food and it's gone quickly so that new people can come and sit.

Pizza with Margareta was not the best we have eaten in Italy, but it was still good. But, on the other hand, pasta alfredo, oh my god, it was good, but a bit stingy with the portion, but so worth it. A must!

Frankly I took the beef fillet with green pepper "SUBLIME" my companion a little disappointed by the salad 🤪 after the best, the service 👍👍👍👍👍 and the welcome 👌🙏😘 after yes the prices, well it's Florence of now you eat in a historical and hypercultural setting like this one 💪🏿🇮🇹😘like everywhere in the rest of the world... it's up to you😀😀😀

Super restaurant
Les spritz sont à tomber, les sangrias aussi! L’équipe est dynamique et très sympathique.
Les pizzas étaient très bonnes, les pâtes aussi, bien que des portions peut-être trop petites.
Néanmoins pour le reste de la carte, rien à redire.
Je conseille vivement cet établissement.
La vue est agréable.

This restaurant is perfectly positioned in the plaza overlooking the Palazzo Vecchio. The food is great and the prices seemed reasonable considering the location. If you are going to eat out in Florence, may as well have an excellent view. Staff were attentive, friendly and excellent. We also ate at its neighbour Il Bargello which was just as good. Would highly recommend.
